Anyone here use blood pressure meds? Im trying to stay on top of bp by donating as much as possible but bp seems to be becoming a problem lately. Stress probably not helping. Im going to try and stop cycling for atleast a minute and keep donating. Any one have any experience with bp meds? Whats good and bad. I tried half a lisinoprol today going to see if that helps at all.

I have to BP off meds is 170/110 so don’t have much of a choice. I also have to do TRT due to two blows of ball cancer. Doctor prescribed I’m on 250mg test c every 5 days. Levels tend to be a little high but doctor doesn’t mind. I do change it up here and there, right now Im doing 375mg every 5 days. I check blood pressure frequently and haven’t noticed a difference with the extra 125mg.

What's the actual dosage of lisinopril? They come in different sizes. Personally, I take 40mg lisinopril once ED and 5mg amlodopine twice ED. I've always had high blood pressure. Mild cycles don't affect it much, but orals makes it sky rocket. So no orals for me.

FYI--it took a couple of days of bp meds in my system before the numbers came down to a stable level.

140/90 without meds. I don’t do any wet compounds blasting anymore so I’m baseline at 140/90. Doc was getting concerned last year so we tried a few things, now I’ve been on 10mg Lisinopril, and 1/2 of a 25mg HCTZ per day. I’ve been 120/70 for the past 6 months. Even now 8 weeks into a test/mast/npp blast it hasn’t budged.

I am about to start the same blast. How often are you pinning and how much of each?

I am on BP meds, have been for a few years now. I am usually around 130ish/70ish - when I run tren, it goes a little bit higher.

Anyone running any otc or natural supplements for Bp that have actually helped ??

Carditone and L-arginine has been noted to help support/lower blood pressure.

Also Cialis 5mg/day.

The reason I’m asking is bc when I’m on cycle my bp is slightly elevated . Normally I’m 119/70 recently 123/53 and 129/70. I do cardio every day but I’d like to try some type of natural supplement to see if that will get a bit lower .

Give Carditone a shot.

They always say that fish oil and omega3 is good for heart health but im not sure if it lowers your bp or not honestly

Just to clarify donating blood only gives you a week of lower blood pressure then you back to where you were before.

Get the BP medicine. Cheap generic at $5 a month and no real side effects.

Funny you mention that bc I have seen guys give blood to try a a lower hematocrit levels and they end up rebounding bad.

Im no doctor but from everything i have been told by my docs and a few cardiologist your numbers are good. 129 is a slightly high but nothing a doctor would put you on meds for. They are typically more concerned with the lower number that starts hitting 100 and it becomes an issue.

If hematocrit rebounds too much they should run lower doses.

The best cure for high blood pressure IS lower doses.

Give Carditone a shot.

I’ve been reading about it . I’m gonna grab some and try it out . I’ve seen a lot of reviews of people claiming it has helped them . I just want to make sure mine is controlled and doesn’t get out of hand . Bp is not only a silent killer but high bp over time even slightly can’t be good for the walls of your heart and arteries.

I agree , I am not worried , yet lol . But I’d rather be proactive and control it now then wait untill my fuckin nose is bleeding or something lol

I'm sure someone has said this but, Carditone would be my first option before RX meds.

This keeps my BP in line and I run a touch high usually.

If your numbers are through the roof then just talk to your Dr.

anyone use telmisartan or nebivolol?

I have been researching nebivolol and so far it seems like a viable option to run . I see no reason not to run drugs like this when your on cycle to control bp .

FWIW, because I see people asking... SOME people have luck with otc supplements. All you can do is give it a try and see if it works. Personally, I tried all of them, many in combination...and nothing worked.

This is what I’m going to do . I bought a bp cuff off Amazon and my wife is I. School to be a nurse so she has a manual cuff . I check pretty much every day Bc I’m paranoid . Mine isn’t high even on a cycle but I’d rather be proactive . The more I learn the more o realize how important bp is for longevity and tbh that’s what I want . Yea I love roids b it there’s a reason I don’t use 19 nors any more .

Gymntonic has some good bp info and products. He did a thread on a med called bystolic I believe. Pretty interesting. I plan on giving it a go soon. I’m a tick to high on cycle, but normally Cialis keeps it in check as long as I keep up on cardio. Good luck!
