Get Shredded!
Welp just got back from the orthopedic Doc. I once again managed to fuck myself up bad enough that’s it’s gonna require surgery. This will make my 18th surgery in 2.5 decades of abusing the shit out of myself. Some major surgeries and some minor ones this will be my first one where it’s gonna require pins and hardware in my foot and toes. I’ve probably broken everything at least twice on my hands and feet but never had pins before. So much for this cycle. Time to do some unexpected PCT. Grrrrrrrrrrr

Rookie!

Good luck! I just had my fibula/foot screws/plate removed after 10 years.

You might need to change a few things..the recovery time gets longer the older you are..
Hope everything works out for the best..

Keep pinning and skip leg days. #winning

18th surgery?? Christ almighty bro....damn demolition derby man. Tough S.O.B to still be hard in the weight game after all of that.

Best of luck buddy and wishing you a speedy recovery.

I appreciate the well wishes bro. It’s all good though. I was just venting a bit. This will be the first surgery that I haven’t had to rush the recovery so I’m looking forward to all the couch time and the sympathy blowjobs plus I’m super lucky to still have a sports surgeon who understands how important my feet and footwork are to me.

Sympathy or guilty? Nevermind...it doesn't matter....a bj is a bj.

Getting a sports guy is critical. I think I mentioned that in a shoulder thread.

I sympathize with the amount of surgeries. Pretty sure I have had that many or close. When they do the pre-op H&P and I start listing surgeries, their eyes usually pop out.
I am so sick of general anesthesia. I hate the waking up confused in a different place part. I have a colonoscopy in a couple of weeks and I dread even that knock out.

Believe me Coach I thank my lucky stars that I was lucky enough to always have had sports Doctors in my corner all these years. I can say with 100% certainty that my shelf life would have been at least cut in half if I would have used Doctors that didn’t give two shits about, or just didn’t understand what’s involved with being a competitive athlete and everything else that goes along with being one. If your an athlete of any kind you should always see a sports Doctor and ALWAYS get at least one 2nd opinion no matter what. It’s a must and should be expected by a good Doc. I think aLot of people would be surprised just how different doctors opinions can be when your talking about diagnosing and fixing injuries especially sports injuries. I don’t think I’ve ever had two Doctors agree with each other 100% but at least by getting a different opinion it always allowed me to decide which way to go.

Definitely agree. Total dicks and awesome surgeons. When I broke my hand the first time, the second surgeon I saw (after initial surgery) was like” Who the F*** did that shit!” Literally.
He went back in and did it proper with some titanium and 8 screws(vs. a crappy aligning & wire). Like Day & Night. Definitely pays to know the local specialists for each area of your body. Always check up on the docs!!
