Need to get checked out and have a sleep study done!

I have had a few sleep studies done over the years. You donít have to be fat or obese to have sleep apnea. It could be as simple as your anatomy or other health reasons. Trt can also make having mild sleep apena worse.

I just recently started using a cpap and it has made a huge difference in just a few weeks.

Sleep apnea just didnít have a negative impact on my health but also on my relationship with my wife.. Because of COVID and insurance purposes and other reasons. I had two sleep studies done within one year. First test showed mild apnea's to no episodes and the second test showed server apnea. I stopped breathing over 187 times. A sleep study is just a small snap shot on whatís going on that one night. Iím just glad they were able to catch it. I kept putting it off but glad my wife kept after me. She started recording me sleeping with her phone and would show me the next morning. It scared the shit out of me.

Also, cpap has a built in humidifier, no more stuffed up nose or dry mouth. I also donít snore anymore and the machine is quiet. Iím able to track my sleep using an app on my phone.

it was hard to get use to using the cpap at first.

I ended up buying mine outright got sick of dealing with the run around with doctors and insurance companies. The company online also does home sleep studies in case anyone is interested.

I always wondered how anyone could sleep with one of those machines running but like you said I guess that you get used to it

The built in humidifier is pretty cool I didn't know that they were built like that 😳 lol

Im curious do they come to your house to do the study? The online company?

They also have an app for everything lol

Most places just send a monitor home with you for the study. One night and done.

It took me a good month, probably 6 wks to get used to mine. For me, the full face mask was way more comfortable than the nasal "pillows". The nose one felt like this:
