Masking BP for a doc visit

I canít believe I didnít think of this sooner, but I have a doctorís appointment tomorrow. Iím on a blast right now and Iím sure my BP is gonna be high. I dont have to worry about blood work because I had that the day before I started, so that just leaves the problem of my BP tomorrow.

Luckily I do have a cialis pill and about a dozen of viagra (if that helps idk) so should I take the cialis tonight or tomorrow morning when I wake up? Or is it just a little too late all together?

If anyone knows some quick ways (other than meds) to bring it down please lemme know! This isnít like a huge deal but Iíd rather my doc not know that Iím blasting right now.

So you think you've been running high blood pressure on a cycle and doing nothing about it....and then you don't want the doctor to know so he could prescribe something to control it?.....yeah that sounds good.....lol

Doesnít everyone have high BP on cycle/blast? My BP is perfect any other time. I just donít want to go in there and have him raise an eyebrow

This. If your BP runs high when on cycle, you need to address it. Tons of people have high BP who don't run gear, so the doc probably won't think too much of it.

I would do the opposite, go to doc when I thought my BP was highest so I could get proper meds to control it. Then when you go off cycle if you don't need it then stop taking it and save it for when you go on your next cycle.

You should have a bp monitor at home and know what your blood pressure is, they're cheap.

Well I definitely feel like a noob right now. I just always figured everyone just rode out the high BP for their blast/cycle. I always did anyway. Iíve never been the kind of guy that goes to the doctor anymore than he has to, so I guess itís just me.

So I guess Iíll go in as-is and see what he says. I just hope this doesnít bring up any problems further down the road; like him asking in 11 weeks when Iím done with my blast ďWhy did your high BP suddenly disappear?Ē Guess I could say I found Jesus and gave up red meat lol

edit: thats not a bad idea REHH. I might reschedule for a couple weeks whenever Iím at like week 6

Having high BP oncycle is nothing to mess with as it can bring dangerous consequences without warning. Like others said, it's best to address that head on especially if you are prone to high BP.

a lot depends on how high ur talking about too bro- no matter what causes it- it's not good. But don't feel bad man- mine goes up when blasting- but not much. It really is important how much ur talking about here- but REHH is right- why not get something for when it's up?

So many things can make your blood pressure spike so I doubt heís going to think your using peds without any other evidence of that sort of thing. I donate plasma twice a week and my bp is always acceptable when I go even in the middle of this cycle (otherwise they send you home) but when I go to my doctors office itís stupid high every single time. Last time they almost sounded concerned it was so high and asked if I have high blood pressure, yet two days before it was fine at the plasma center. They call it white coat syndrome (anxious in the doctor office)Ö

I actually just drove to Rite Aid and did the cuff machine there and bought one for at home. It was at 140/76 so I suppose thats just a tiny bit high. I also forgot to take my chew out before doing it.

BP is one of the 1st health markers to take head of...
Hell it would be great if you could get a full lab work up..

I see People discard BP and that's a huge mistake...if it's high, what do you think it's at deadlifting..???
As we age so many factors from genetics,diet,lifestyle...the list is endless...

    Take REHH's advice
BTW anyone over 40,on or off...should monitor BP..anyone ON Damn well better..

Thanks my friend. I try to steer people right without being too harsh, especially when long term health is at risk.

BTW.....I sincerely hope your keeping up the fight man!!! Whenever I see your name come up I always think about you fighting for life. As you get older and start to see friends and family dropping around you your perspective on life takes on a whole new meaning.
