Whey Prices Up?

Are whey prices up that much or did I just get gouged for no reason? Literally a 40% increase in less than two months. I guess I shouldn't complain too much, I'd been getting a pretty good deal up until now at $7 per lb.

Milk product prices have gone up and certain products are hard to find right now . I work for a candy manufacturer and it has put some stuff on hold because they can’t source sweetend condensed milk for some reason.
