Lol I don't know if I'd consider shrooms to be a sex drug. I WILL NOT take those anymore but when I did, I don't think there is any way I could have ever had sex. I would have either just started laughing hysterically or broke down crying depending on what kind of trip I was having.

I never had a whole lot of luck with fucking on cocaine either tbh. All of the hard core stimulants always made my dick shrivel up. That's not to say I never made it happen with the wife, I did, but it wasn't remarkable or anything.

This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard… pain meds/opiates are your sex life’s worst enemy… if you can even get it up you won’t feel shit and is literally impossible to bust a nut…

And I could understand why.

That’s the thing man when it came to the OPs I was always drooling…once upon a time, every pair of gym shorts I owned was covered in burn holes from me nodding out with a cigarette in my hand. Now I don’t even smoke, nice having clothes that look and smell good….anyway I was never in any condition to fuck when I was messing with that stuff. Probably went years with only getting off a “handful” of times lol

I’m glad to hear you turned it around because most people don’t. I know a lot of people who ended up killing themselves on that shit.

Meth is another bad one. Turned my best friend into a complete fuckin idiot. He’s been in and out of jail for years now, what a shame.

He didn’t do drugs or even drink and worked for my company and made great money for years and then for whatever reason he just started snorting meth, I caught wind of it and had to fire him, and it all went down hill from there. His dad is an old school meth head trucker so he thought he could handle it but he couldn’t. It turned him into a borderline schizo and he’s just completely lost his way at this point.

Hopefully he sorts himself out but I doubt he ever will. I hate to say it but he’s probably going to end up shooting himself or something. I’ve tried to help him but there’s nothing I can do.

Thanks brother! Yeah it was a long dark road I was on. Was digging my own grave for years. Honestly a miracle I made it out alive. ODed too many times to count. Last time was really bad. Had to be intubated and had a machine doing all the breathing for me because my lungs weren’t functioning for 3 days after it happened. Had a stroke as well. Came to in the hospital when the ripped that tube out of my throat, wholly shit man that wasn’t fun. Shortly after they pulled the other tube out of my dick. Just to be told what had happened and that I too of everything else I also suffered a stroke and soon realized I couldn’t lift one of my arms more than 2” off my lap. Couldn’t walk for over a week, had to learn how to do that again… so fucked man.


I needed something more to live for. I didn’t value my life enough. Having kids changed all that for me! I love everyday man and I want nothing more than to have as much time as possible to spend with them. Nothing else worked I was in and out of treatment and jail. I can now say for certain that I’m never going back to that shit. Don’t even think about really anymore. Im living now brother!

Sorry to hear about your friend though. The shit doesn’t discriminate, can happen to anyone. Hopefully he finds the motivation he needs to straighten out.

Im not going to lie, psychedelics did play a role in my recovery. People think I’m Full of shit when I say that but they gave me perspective that I needed to leave that life behind. Hard to put it into words….
