Pain at Injections site?

I did my first ever pin of Test-E on my right quad yesterday. Injection didn't hurt that bad. I skipped the gym yesterday but Today my quad feels like I did leg day for 6 hours. Injection site hurts in a 5-6 inch radius and the leg aches. No lumping, no redness or discoloration.

I pinned 1/2ml of Test E at 23g, used a new needle, alcohol swabbed the muscle and watched a video on how to do it.

Is this normal? Am I just being a bitch? or did I inject too deep or something else?

If your right quad was a virgin muscle it's normal to feel some pain, next pins will be pain free or less. If you still feel pain on 2 ml of test try to inject 1 ml each quad like I did. If you don't notice redness or bubbling usually there are no problems.

Appreciate the quick response. It is a virgin muscle. I’m injecting 1/2ml so half a ml. This is my first ever cycle and that was my first ever pin. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t doing anything wrong. Thanks again!

I've done quads back in the days..but never again..Glutes

23g sounds like a harpoon to me. Be easier on yourself if u used a thinner pin. Like a 26 or 27g. For now in the mean time. Try an ice pack to ease the pain.

lol it’s going to hurt you just stabbed your muscle and injected a foreign substance . It will probably hurt a lot more tomorrow too . I don’t know how fat you are but I use a one inch needle and will pin with a 25g those 23s are too damn big for me . Pain is normal especially when you pin a new spot just make sure that it doesn’t get hot or red that could be infection

My legs are pretty well defined, I’ve got some stomach fat but my legs are toned, I’m like the opposite of most guys 😂 i never skip leg day.

I bought some 30g insulin needles as well and I’ve thought about back filling them but I’m afraid they won’t be deep enough.

For quads. I'm not entirely certain but I think people aim to use 1 to 1.5 inch pins. Can someone correct me on that.

Yeah . 1in works. Even 1.5 . Some guys are into The 5/8 but , I am not a fan(with thick oil test)
The lowest I go anywhere is 1” . Now gh/peptides /other : my fave is the 32g 4mm !
Got a deal on em, and get this! They were out of Easy Touch slin pins and they sent me a box of 100 BD Ultra fine 31g 5/ 16 syringes. (I don’t recommend but, you literally could use 2x a day for 3 days.

When you inject first time some muscle the pain is huge ( virgin muscle ) , but the other shoots there will be smother . But remember leg shoot is always a little more painful than shoulders or glutes
