    Chronic Kidney Disease....CKD

    Anyone on here have it?

Looks like I finally have to accept that I have it and it's not going away. My creatinine and egfr have been high for two years now. (Egfr low). At first it was just barely out of range but over the past two years things have slowly gotten worse to where I'm at stage 3. I've been dialing things back during this time, drugs, training, diet, Alchohol etc. I don't blame it on AAS alone but I'm sure is a contributing factor. I've had chronic pain from arthritis and have used moderate amounts of nsaids for at least 10yrs+, nsaids are bad for the kidneys.

I recently went on a calcium blocker to get my BP lower, was only high normal but I wanted lower for kidney health. I've tried some OTC supplements, Glutathione injections seemed to lower my creatinine some on bloodwork but only temporarily, when I go off it goes back up. Getting ready to do a TB500, BPC157 cycle and see what that does.

Has anyone here had any luck reversing CKD? My research shows it very unlikely, the kidneys don't heal like the liver, once damaged it doesn't seem reversible.

Sorry to hear that. No experience here, but I wish you the best of luck. If you've had to do nsaids daily for 10+ yrs, that's probably been a HUGE factor. Probably more than the gear, etc.

No where near daily, weeks with no use at all. Intermittent use over the years is all, not abused.

I canít remember who posted it, but I know somebody on the board had a protocol for reversing kidney disease. I believe he used it successfully on his wife. I wish I could find it because I struggle to keep my egfr in normal range. Best of luck to you brother.

Garlicchicken. He used Astragalus. I did a run of that too, it did help but not as much as I had hoped. I've been taking it since then, 1000mg per day intermittently. Was taking more when I did a run for bloodwork, 2000-3000 a day for 30 days before bloodwork

So I did a lot of research yesterday, called Dr and got copies of bloodwork going back to 2018. Seems my kidney function has not ramped down as much as I thought, been more steady; Although I now see that I've had this condition longer than I thought....more than 4yrs. I will be going back further on bloodwork to see how far back I can trace this. Also I'm still waiting on my recent bloodwork from a few days ago to see where I'm at currently.

Is your kidney function a result of lime disease? Had a tick latched on my daughter the other day and was freaking out a bit in my head. No bullseye , but did leave a red mark and a small patch of skin rash.

just curious... this guy at work has lime disease and it says it fucks everything up ... he feels like shit all the time.

Have you done a Cystatin C test before? No expert here but I've read it is a better indication of kidney function. Might be worth a little research.

Yes. The reason I'm on this forum and started using steroids again after being natural for 15+yrs is because I caught Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. My join date here is 2014, caught LD and RMSF about a year before which caused alot of damage and I had to go on TRT, thyroid meds after that. I was not using any meds or drugs before that and hadn't used any steroids since the mid 90s. From 90-95 I cycled 2-3 times a year with low doses. I have logs of my cycles some were only 200-300mg of test for 8weeks, couple others were 200mg Test and 200mg deca. All very low doses.

No I'm currently getting a referral to go to a kidney specialist.

Unfortunately, if you have real kidney damage and not just skewed testing for whatever reason.... It is 99.9 percent irreversible(in the medical world we never believe in 100%) You can only maintain at this point by doing as little to no damage as possible. Is your squamous count up? That is the type of tissue that lines your kidneys. If it is up and has been for while, that means the damage is likely starting to get to a point where whatever issue is there should be readily diagnosable.
