    Training after injury

    Anyone one starting over after a serious injury?
    I had a compression fracture in my vertebrae and had surgery following. Getting my body back slowly

    Yes, a compression (open) fracture to my right tibia/fibula. Good as new after it healed, but still carry a Titanium rod and 3 pins.
    Anyhow, you do realize you needs 10 posts to DM, not 10 threads, right?

    I’ve suffered 3 pec tears and 1 lat tear. My biggest issue overcoming training post injury is the mental aspect. Everytime I do a big compound lift, I find myself repeating “Don’t get hurt” over and over like a manic depressive episode.

    Yes, have always been a fan of active restoration ... lots of good literature on it. IMO, (as a general rule since there are exceptions) too much time off will make recovery more difficult.
