Why do they prescribe test cypionate for TRT? Who it hurt to replace with test propionate, test enanthate or Sustanon 250 for a period of time and do these three alternatives have the same effect on elevating libido?

Libido probably the same but when it comes to rx meds they look for reward to risk ratio and ease of use for the patient. For most 1-2 shots per week is user friendly while maintaing a stable blood serum. We're the weird ones as most just won't pin daily or eod. Sust is quite common other places too btw but there's a reason why usp chose CYP over others

Test-E and Test-C are basically the same thing. (half life difference of like 1.5 days).
If taken weekly, it matters not.

If you do prop, or sust then keep your injection frequency at EOD or ED. Longer esters can make it easier to maintain consistent levels, but test is test at the end of the day.


Libido is complex, and has to do with E2 levels, test levels, and somewhat DHT levels.

Just divide 500 into 3 (if doing MWF) or divide 500 into 7 (if doing ED).
