A recent thread about Biden's eo for china's access to our power grid got me wondering about all this Texas power outages.
I'm. Not trying to conspiracy theory this. I'm just curious if u guys think this is a test run on china's end. Or if there's a legit reason for what's happening in Texas I wasn't aware of.

Nah, I don't see this as china. It does highlight how fragile our infrastructure is though. It should definitely be a wake up call. What they aren't talking about is the price gouging that is going on right now. I saw a chart of energy costs to the consumer and it was through the roof. And I'm referring to actual rates....not simply the fact people are using more energy. Most people won't even question their bill...they'll just think "yeah it was cold and we ran the heater a lot".

I agree but not sure it’s access to power grid but more shutting off any purchases from China of any power grid production supplies. Is that the same thing?

From the sound of things, yes. Chinese parts = chinese back doors into your systems. The US is literally trying to shut the barn door after the horse got out. The US govt is currently struggling to identify and shutdown compromised systems.

The downside is china will simply move their ccp controlled chip makers to taiwan, etc. We will still be getting CCP controlled hardware for years to come. Right down to the $100 printer you buy off amazon. China can bend us over any time they want to.

No networks are 100 % safe, or one could say all networks are safe until they’re not.

My point is everything is hackable, and nothing is off limits.

Im not sure what to think on the rolling blackouts in Texas, we will probably never know the truth, if you watch the news your misinformed and if you don’t watch you’re dis informed.

If they don't have it, they are definitely working on it. They've been trying to accomplish this for decades. Cloud seeding was theorized more than 100 years ago and has been experimented with for the last 80-90yrs. There was significant govt/military experiments in the korea to vietnam time frames. I'm sure there is probably still funding going on.

I'll avoid going down the haarp, etc rabbit holes. I'll defer those topics to the experts. I still think the recent arctic blast was just good ol fashioned mother nature.
