Agreed. I can remember back in my very young days maybe 7-10 yrs old. our after school program would occasionally bus us to Oakland and candlestick for games. I didn't realize much at the time but I vividly remember having to drive thru the ghetto. Huge sections of freeway were covered in graffiti I can remember vividly. Was at a niners game way back and saw a full out Norte gang fight that started inside and crept out to the parking lot. I don't remember if anyone was actually killed but there were multiple stabbings. Left an impression on me. It was in the roughs for sure.Not so much a show but live action. Oakland coliseum A’s vs. Giants. Let me tell you first hand the fans are just as ghetto and shitty as the resident wildlife. About the 6th inning I went for concessions and found an 65+ couple wearing Giants gear encircled by Oakland fans in their 20’s. I didn’t catch what was said but they were surrounded being yelled at. One Oakland fan hawked a big spit at the couple and out of nowhere comes a cop the size of freak320 and does this chest battering ram move. Dude flew a few feet and his homies ran like hell. That cop had him crying in seconds. I went about my business. Later on my wife and I saw the group against a wall with several more officers getting the 9th degree.
I felt bad for the older couple but also felt they should know better in a place like that.
Hundreds of Greatful Dead/Jerry Garcia Band shows.
Quality music.
Linkin Park mountain view by far.
I forgot tool. I saw them with Korn on 2 hits of acid. The back drop screen was perfect. System of a Down on shrooms was awsome too.Seen a lot of live shows...
Some of the best performances include but not limited to are;

sevendust
Black Label Society
static x
mudvayne
incubus/311
5 finger death
breaking Benjamin

always wanted to see TOOL and APC live but so far the opportunity has eluded me.

Why not?Does that count?
Sounds great! Where was it?Linkin Park mountain view by far.
I see you love concerts) It's cool when you have something to rememberNot much of a country fan, but Garth was pretty epic. Eagles was great, Lamb of God with Slayer was fun. Best/biggest shows I have personally played where with Amon Amarth and Children of Bodom, huge festival in Michagan with Every Time I Die, and Thrash and Burn festival with All Shall Perish, Parkway Drive, and Darkest Hour.

I agree. Often performers sound differently live or even worse than on a record.Rush. They sounded live.... Just as they do on CD.. And it impressed me.
Rap shows are garbage. Rocks OK. Metal tends to sound like shit to live.
All the shows I've been to. Rush was the only that left me like whoa wtf. They were OK on album to me. Not a major interest. After I left the show I was a big fan.
