    New at 52

    52 new here and need advice
    Hope to find real and safe guidance here
    Want to trade 12-15 pounds of fat for muscle as far as the scales are concerned for me that means Iím 175 now and skinny fat at 6í tall
    Joints ache some, some minor tendinitis and since the first time Iíve ever worked out I have bad DOMS. One period I used androstat poppers and had no pain. (Years ago) just thought it was the bow flex

    Glad to converse with anyone that can help

    About 23% bf at 175 and would like to be 175-180 with 12-15% bf

    Struggles with weight gain my whole life until I hit 35 or so. Then gaining weight was easy ...
    Just never could gain anything as muscle.

    Thinking of test c or e...

    My advice: a great physique is built in the kitchen and not the gym. So examine all your eating habits and start cleaning that up a little at a time. Get some cardio for extra calorie burning plus good heart health.

    Once your conditioning has improved in the gym and you get some strength behind you, which can by easily 6 to 9 months, you should consider getting some help with anabolics. Simple cycle like test E at 500 mg a week. See how your body responds.

    9 months of eating well and get conditioning under way. 3 months of test e... in a year you will look very different.

    Seems like a long time. But this isn't a race. It's a marathon.

    Welcome. I am 56 and been in this life style for 26 years. I don't think your bodyfat percentage is accurate. My advise to you sir before you touch anything is take a look at your diet, eating and drinking habbits . Next I would recommend you schedule a physical with your doctor and get a full blood panel including your lipids and testostrone level. You might be a TRT candidate if your test level is below 250. If you are truly 175 at 6 foot tall at 23% that means your body fat is 40 pounds?
    You are wanting to lose roughly 10% of the 23% fat which is 13 pound which will put your weight at 162 and gain 13 pounds of solid muscle. This is all possible without the gear. Once again I recommend you get your blood work before touching anything. Best of luck
