First cycle. Not really what I expected.

    First cycle. Not really what I expected.

    I will be as in depth but as brief as possible.
    Age: 42
    14 year natural lifter
    Weight: 226 B.F 11%
    Placed on trt 18 months ago at 100mg/wk

    Diet:
    Carb sources are oats, rice, potatoes, and pasta for white carbs.
    Beans black or red and sweet potatoes for brown carbs.

    Protein sources are tuna and cod fillets for fish.
    Chicken and turkey for lean white meat.
    Very seldom any red meat ( maybe 90/10 ground sirloin for a burger, taco or spaghetti).
    I love dairy, cheese, milk and Greek yogurt.

    Fruits and veggies I like them all!!

    I carb cycle. At the moment itís 400/500/600 low/med/high
    Protein is 400 grams daily ( may go over a little some days but never less)
    Fat hangs out between 80 & 160 grams daily being higher on low carb days
    This is done with 6 whole meals and 2 snacks daily.

    Workout split is simple because I work long ass hours in construction and I donít like complicated.

    Mon. Chest&triís
    Tues. Off
    Wed. Back&biís
    Thurs. Off
    Fri. Legs
    Sat. Shoulders & core
    Sun. Off

    So after some years of research on aas and the fact my natural test production took a fall at age 41 I decided this winter was the time to take it up another level.

    Four weeks ago I started a very simple cycle.
    Test E 750mg/wk
    Decca 375mg/wk
    Dbol 30mg/daily
    A.I only if needed

    I pin 1ml test and .5ml decca Mon/Wed/Fri

    I just finished week four on 11/29/20 and the results in this time are not what I was expecting. I have gained two pounds in four weeks. I will have bloods done next week to answer any questions about the products. I will drop dbol at the end of week 5.

    Maybe Iím expecting to much but I donít really know what to expect except what Iíve read in my research.

    Could my problem be diet? To clean? I was looking to add 15 pounds before spring when it gets HOT.
    Any ideas or suggestions?

    dbol alone should have put you up 15-20lb of water in 2 weeks
    your TRT dose is too low you need to be at 150mg a week

    It's too early.

    If your diet is clean as you posted, I wouldn't expect huge jumps in weight this soon, especially with Dbol at 30mg. Also, that's plenty of food.

    Have you been taking weekly progress pics? It's hard to see the forest through the trees sometimes and pics are a very valuable tool.

    Four to six weeks is typically when you'll start to see your weight climb.

    See what your bloodwork results are but, just be patient.

    Age might play a small part.

    In the end though, if you're not gaining weight, you're not eating enough. Simple as that.

    Yes I do take weekly progress pics. The composition and look of the muscles are very different especially from beginning pic compared to week 4.

    Weight gain isn't the only measure.

    i'm gonna jump out on a limb and say your gear MAY be sub-par, but it does take awhile(especially w/deca) to kick in. would have thought u would have gained more than 2 lbs tho. your bloods will tell the tale. the only other thing is maybe try to hit your body parts more than once a week(just me- but I do chest and arms 3x week and just work the other stuff in), but i'm like Heck-the d-bol alone should put 5-10 lbs on you in 4 wks. most guys really blow up on their first cycle. but everyone is diff. try to be patient and see what your bloods say and go from there. your diet looks pretty damn good so..... something ain't right. Anyway, good luck to you man!

    Thatís why I didnít reveal a source and would not do so unless someone messaged me in private and asked. Iíve never seen anything bad about the source I used. So do me a favor and donít speculate. Thanks

    Takes time bud your doing fine just gotta keep trucking if your seeing better composition in your muscles you'll get what you need at the end I bet. Maybe next time try a short Ester blend i personally made some of my quickest best results on testp/npp drol/dbol orals

    definitely shouldn't have made much actual gains yet as it will be another few weeks before you notice aside from the dbol/test water and inflammation I do think your expectations maybe a littlel high, 0.5lbs a week of actual keepable muscle is about the best you can expect especially with "clean bulking", unless you have a good response to gear, and partly cause you've been lifting 14 years, adding 6-8lbs of muscle in only 12 weeks (as I expect will happen) will be pretty insane this late in your career, think about it.

    i agree with this but have never used UGL dbol so not sure. At 40mg back in day with pharm grade Iíd gain 5lbs per week for 4 weeks every time I used it. Also, it may be early for the oils but 750 is substantial for a first timer and there should have even been some water weight gained from that. Something seems
    off to me based on my own personal experiences but I'm far from an expert.

    No not all. This is our slow time with cold weather and rain. I thought it would be the best time because I can eat much more and keep it on a better schedule.

    Mustard you cleared my eyes with this post. I didnít think about 6-8 pounds of solid clean muscle. I would very happy with that. I remember when that took a year to add.
