Checkins with coach yesterday. Weight is down a little sitting at 278lbs. Feeling a lot harder lately at this weight. I guess I’m growing into this weight now.

Great leg day yesterday. Quad focus day and my legs were toast afterwards. Used a few different movements yesterday with smith machine squats with slow negatives and the belt squat also with slow negatives. Felt great to switch things up a little. Got a great connection with my quads.

I’ve been watching and once I saw the giant set...! Omg, I do look forward to doing those one day! I am definitely not there yet. I need a hospital bed afterwards! Lol . The muscular pain combined with my whining are comparable to me w a bad cold! I turn into a whiny kid! That is my girl talking. She is mean! !

Haha I feel you! I was like fuck, I have to now do some heavy ass leg movements.

That being said I went a little easier on the giant set this first time around. I’m going to hit it harder next time before getting into my heavy compound movements

Dude let me tell you. I have never used this machine before until I joined this new gym. It’s a Humbler for sure. I mean 2 plates feels heavy as shit. Never had a hammer strength fly machine in other gyms but it’s my new favorite fly movement now.

Deload is going well this week. My hunger seems to be going up which is weird since I’m cruising right now. Body is feeling more energetic already. Looking forward to getting back at it next week. It will be exactly 7 weeks from tomorrow when we start prep. Getting excited!

Wife gave me permission to share these. She will be starting prep for her first Figure contest in a couple of weeks. She is using Uncle Z Var at 10mg daily and 50mg of Primo weekly. Her coach is an IFBB figure pro and seems to be going well so far. She has put on about 12lbs since January and body composition hasn’t changed, probably leaner now. It’s been pretty evenly distributed but her back and shoulders are starting to look pretty sick as well as her legs.
