Ok i got a nother question then , and thanks btw , but why would my tacking on this pack only say a label has been printed and nothing more for like 5 days now ? has this ever happened to you ? out of 100 packs , ive never had this happen so idk. and by the way , the sender says the pack is definately in the mail

Ive never gotten any kind of letter whatsoever from USPS . so it freaks me out a little to have it happen the same time as this no updated tracking bs

Okay so...

If there's no tracking it hasn't been processed by USPS yet.

As far as the letter... How do you know it's coming? This doesn't make any sense

There’s a way to see all your upcoming mail. Well not all but like you can see what’s coming today or the next day etc. not sure exactly. All I know is that that letter is coming today. I’ll look and let you know how I did it. I can’t remember. It was something I did when I was trying to figure out what is up with this package.

It’s called informed delivery.

USPS needs a warrant signed by a judge to open your package and that is highly unlikely. USPS sucks at scanning packages since the pandemic. I ship a ton of packages and lately a lot of them the tracking won't update til it hits your post office and is out for delivery.

Its a service by usps to check what mail you have coming . I dont use it for packages , just for mailpieces. Its actually pretty sweet if you have mail going to a different address than where you live so you can see whats coming, if its a waste of time going to check that mailbox or not. Like if youre expecting a check or something that youre anxious to get in the mail that doesnt have tracking , instead of going everyday to check and see if its there just login and see whats coming that day or the days before . i think you can ever look at any address . im not 100% sure about that but when i did sign up for this informed delivery service , it didnt ask me for any kind of identity verification that i can recall. like i didnt have to submit and ID or anything like that

Thanks brother , its coming from, what i would consider ,probably, a very busy post office which im hoping is why its not updated . but from what ive read theres contradictory thoughts on seizure letters domestically , some say they dont send seizure letters some say they do. idk

I made a mistake on this order in particular as far as privacy goes , long story short , when i was placing my order for this beard oil i was in my firefox browser , still had my vpn going and was incognito but not on a tor browser. i try to be careful about that kind of shit , i have had friends make orders for beard oil and not use a vpn or protonmail or tor browser or anything of the sort and hasnt had any probems i prefer to be a little more careful , and since this last order i just wasnt paying attention to what i was doing and checked out on firefox, now i am stressing out about this letter , probably nothing to worry about .

From my understanding....

Across the pond international. Your pack goes thru customs. And if an agent checks your pack and has contraband. You'll get a love letter. I've had em and discarded them.
Local on the other hand... They don't go inspecting and tearing thru packs..
Unless you and the shipper are under suspension and being watched then at that process the post master would then have to have a judge sign off on a Warrent because it's a federal crime to go thru the mail. In order to get the Warrent. It has to be abundantly clear that a crime is being committed for them to risk this precious procedure set in place to protect the citizens right to privacy for mail.
I wouldn't sweat it just yet. Open then letter when u get it. If you don't like what it says. Toss it.
If they say come get your pack. It's here.. Call the post master and explain you aren't expecting any packages and you request for it to be discarded. Unless of course u have big enough balls to go find out for yourself.
Be smart n safe. Deny deny deny.

I have seen many a seizure letter from USPS bc of all the clients I have.

First of all you have to get out of the mentality that USPS has to have a warrant. They like LE, don't play by the rules. The package will be "DAMAGED" and it broke open and they just so happened to see that you had some bottles of Testosterone. I assure you that it works this way. I have friends that work for USPS, one is a postmaster and he acknowledged "damaged" packages are not subject to warrant, "in plain view" is what the police will call it.

Next I have had several guys order small orders and get seizure letters. And the cops never came, and there was no follow up. The letter usually will give you an option to pickup the package, so lets say you are genuine diabetic for instance and have a script and order, and they seize, you have every right to get your items.

With that being said and done i have also seen small time orders, where a cop shows up and questions the individual. I have heard of stings, where they will have the individual accept the package and the UPS or FEDex driver is the fed and immediately arrests you and then they search your house.

There is no one answer to this question.

In my experiences a Seizure letter is good news. It is a "warning". And even though you just lost some hard earned cash. Thats way better then spending that cash to be on probation for years or worse off being in jail.

I wouldn't use that shipping address ever again. And pay attention to any other packs that arrive at your house. Look for damage, holes, or even tape that has been heated and then reapplied, aka "loose tape".

Thats another trick they use on packs. They can heat the plastic priority mail bags , open it, and then reseal and it looks no different.

Rest assured though that USPS doesn't follow the laws many many times. Just like LE doesn't either. Stop thinking of this "they have to do this legally"....

A lot of good info here. When I open the letter I will be sure to post it. Even if none of you guys really care , someone may have the same question in the future.

also dont go to the post office to pick up said package you are now commiting a crime on federal property, post office has their own law enforcement they dont need a warrent, and also be suspect of holes in packages they will put borescopes in suspect packages so they can inspect without opening

Unless it was delivered to someone else and they opened it then reported the contents

You getting amped up for nothing. Go get the letter and read it. Guarantee it has nothing to do with you pack coming... Also, just because your source created a shipping label doesn't mean he actually sent it yet which means USPS doesn't even have possession of it yet and that's why tracking is still only showing that a label is created.

Now, I could be wrong, but 60% of the time I'm right every single time.

Couple of thoughts but first, why didn't you ever answer me in the source section on Feral?
I have seen someone before post on meso about getting a letter on domestic saying their stuff was seized and this happened because the source was being watched. As far as I remember, nothing ever happened to the person who got their stuff seized.
I have seen numerous times, packages say label created and then nothing for over a week until day of delivery and then it is updated. Sometimes USPS people just dont update every step of the way and like negger heckler said, sometimes shipper creates a label and doesnt actually drop off the same day...

This literally just happened to me, minus getting the letter as I'm not signed up for informed delivery. Label was created on the 20th, departed regional facility 4 days later. Mine seems to be on the move as yours isn't?

No still nothing. It’s coming from the other side of the country so maybe it was picked up and never scanned and won’t be scanned until it gets to the post office nearest to me.

I’m in no way being a dick. Just telling it like it is. One a lot of what Wes is saying is without a doubt fact AND any of you guys that use your home addy’s to receive anything illegal are insane. Especially when you say after 100’s of previous packages with no issues. If that’s even half true using the law of averages your due for a fuck up. Sorry I wish you the best and from now on take the necessary precautions. Trust me it’s worth the extra effort.

That just means the lab has a label maker and made your sticker.
And they have not got it to the office yet.
The pack could not even be made yet and 10 labels have been printed.

1. What are Postal Inspectors?
Postal Inspectors are federal law enforcement agents responsible for enforcing more than 200 federal statutes
involving crimes against the United States Postal Service, the U.S. Mail and its customers.
2. What are the responsibilities of the Postal Inspection Service?
The Postal Inspection Service is responsible for protecting postal employees and the mails; enforcing postal
laws; ensuring plant and personnel security; conducting various internal audits within the Postal Service; and
conducting criminal investigations and presenting evidence to U.S. Attorneys and other prosecutors on these
investigations.
3. What authority do Postal Inspectors have under the law?
As sworn federal law enforcement agents, Postal Inspectors have the power to serve warrants and subpoenas
issued under the authority of the United States; make arrests without warrants for postal-related offenses
committed in their presence; make arrests without warrants for postal-related felonies cognizable under the
laws of the United States, if they have reasonable grounds to believe that the person arrested has committed
or is committing such a felony; carry firearms, and make seizures of property as provided by law.
4. Can Postal Inspectors open mail if they feel it may contain something illegal?
First-Class letters and parcels are protected against search and seizure under the Fourth Amendment to the
Constitution, and, as such, cannot be opened without a search warrant. If there is probable cause to believe
the contents of a First-Class letter or parcel violate federal law, Postal Inspectors can obtain a search warrant
to open the mail piece. Other classes of mail do not contain private correspondence and therefore may be
opened without a warrant.
5. Why do Postal Inspectors frequently conduct joint investigations with other agencies?
Overlapping jurisdiction often requires collaboration with other federal, state and local authorities. Postal
Inspectors have developed close working relationships with other agencies that facilitate such cooperation.
6. Do Postal Inspectors get involved in investigations unrelated to mail or the Postal Service?
On rare occasions, Postal Inspectors are asked by the U.S. Department of Justice or a U.S. Attorney to assist
in an investigation that does not involve the use of the mails. But typically, investigations will relate to the
Postal Service or the U.S. Mail in some way. For example, securities or insurance fraud may involve sending
false statements or claims through the mail. Child molesters may be producing child pornography and
distributing it via the U.S. Mail. These types of crimes violate statutes that are within the jurisdiction of the
Postal Inspection Service.
7. Who is in charge of the Postal Inspection Service?
The Chief Postal Inspector heads the Postal Inspection Service. The Chief Postal Inspector acts as security
officer and defense coordinator for the Postal Service and maintains liaison with other investigative and law
enforcement agencies of the federal government.
8. Who appoints the Chief Postal Inspector?
The Postmaster General of the United States.
9. Who does the Chief Postal Inspector report to?
The Chief Postal Inspector reports to the Postmaster General of the United States.

You are right. The package could have been "Returned to Sender" and the person getting the returned package might be an unwilling participant.
