    AR vs. Hiccups

Well I went 5 - 24hour rounds with the undefeated Hiccups and lost in round 5. I finally had to throw in the towel. Lol So Wednesday last weeK while I was at the gym I drank one of those Gatorade antioxidant drinks that Iím pretty sure was super old. Kinda tasted funny but I was so thirsty at the time I just went ahead and took the chance that it was all in my head. After all itís a Gatorade right? Lol Finished my workout went home got a BJ from Mrs. AR, all was perfect in the world. Well yeah until Thursday around noon. Bam went from a perfect world to me pulling off the highway every ten minutes to puke like I was possessed by the angriest puking demon out there. Plus now I started with annoying ass hiccups. Friday the puking switched over to shitting and ofcourse the hiccups continued right on through. Saturday everything pretty much stopped EXCEPT the hiccups. Sunday more of the same. Hiccups, Hiccups, and yup more hiccups. Sunday Hiccups. At this point I was getting seriously aggravated and confused. I tried every home remedy I could find and ofcourse I made the worst mistake ever and googled what causes hiccups. Every road on there led to me dying of cancer one way or another. Today I sucked up my pride and went to the ER. Felt like a total pussy but wtf can you do? lol One cool thing though was when I got there I was probably like # 15 in the line and they took me straight in. Nurse said anything over 24 hrs with Hiccups and itís considered a medical emergency. Go figure huh? So they hooked me up with a few bags of IV vitamins and some drug to stop the hiccups. Did a chest X-ray and a CT scan on my neck. No cancer and no tumors pushing on a nerve that might have been activating the hiccups. The Doc did say it seems as if my esophagus is shrinking up. Not sure wtf thatís all about but gotta make an appointment tomorrow to see a specialist. When it rains it pores I guess.

Anybody else here have any experiences with hiccups lasting this long???

Yes! I wanted to shoot myself to make them stop. After 5 days same as you went to the er and they said dont ever wait that long again that it's hard in your heart as well. I didnt sleep for days then finally went to the ER they gave me a shot and relieved me from having to shoot myself. They put me on meds for the next week and they were gone.

The dr did tell me next time I have them breathe out all the air you possibly can and hold your breath while pushing every bit of air out. Hold as long as you can then repeat. He said this changes the CO2 level in your blood and stops spasms. To this day 25 years later I still do that to get rid of hiccups

I can stop hiccups any time easily. Just relax and take deep breaths with full exhale. Sometimes they are gone in one breath.

I had hiccups for 8 days once. I had no shortsge of people offering the ďsure thingĒ cure. People seeing you rapid fire hiccup and giggling because they think itís cute adds to the misery.

The only thing that cured them was 25mg of thorazine IV. That drug is one of the most uncomfortable things I have ever experienced. I guess it makes wacko people lucid but perhaps the opposite is true as well.

Well as always I appreciate everyoneís responses. Iím not sure what they gave me through my IV but it worked. They havenít came back yet either. (Knock on wood). All I do know is that was a pretty miserable 5 days. Well I guess the first day or so wasnít too bad because I was expecting them to go away at some point. On the 4th and 5th day I was ready to jump off a bridge. I canít imagine 8 fucking days!!í Your also 100% right too Coach that everyone seems to have their own guaranteed cure. I gladly tried them all though because I really got desperate for anything to work.

Frankdoz I thought about the AAS as a cause as well but the ER doc assured me that wasnít the case. But really who knows because Iíve heard guys say that Tren causes them to get hiccups. I actually think it was someone from ASF. Liver Iím not sure but they did take blood and everything liver related came back within the normal range. Who knows.

I certainly learned a valuable lesson though. If someone would have told me a week ago that they had hiccups for a week and had to go to the ER before they went totally insane I probably would have called them a Pussy. Well now Iíd say Damn your a total badass mother fucker for lasting 5 days before going!!!! Lol

just saw ur post bro- it's def. the steroids man-no doubt- especially if u have any kinda gastric prob.- reflux etc. from tren. Man i was absolutely miserable- what most people don't realize is u can't do ANYTHING-sleep/ fuck/ work out/ eat etc etc- i mean nothing when u can't stop them- ended up getting prilosec or any generic acid reducer/gastric something, something. Anyway u take one everyday and i haven't had them in forever- and i was getting them everytime i ate/drank. carbonation is one of the main causes of hiccups- so go easy on the carb. drinks. all i can say is it worked for me! good luck man! (little purple pill) (but generic much cheaper!)

On a prep two years ago I got hiccups everytime I ate. It sucked. I was trying to do Ameenís thing of not dribking water until 30 minutes after a meal.
Now I sip water with that dry ass chicken and havenít had that problem in all 3 preps this year.

I donít feel it was the tren but then again, I donít really get sides from it. Of course I donít go over 150mg/week.

Well Hot Rod upon further review AND two more bouts with them this past week Iím inclined to say you are 100% right. Weird thing is I have never experienced this before using Tren. Has to be the Tren because I cut out the D-bol weeks ago and only other thing Iím running is Sust and GH. Funny thing is also Coach the amount of Tren Iím running is way lower than what Iím use to using. The whole thing fucked me up pretty good. I couldnít do shit this whole week. Couldnít eat, couldnít drink anything, couldnít train. Everything caused hiccups which caused throwing up etc. Fucking crazy. Lol Anyway regular Doc finally prescribed me exactly what you said Prilosec
    yesterday.

Thanks to all that responded. Every reply helped a lot so all you guys are very much appreciated. Hope I can return the favor someday.
