Ultrasound. Enlarged Heart

IML Gear Cream!
The voice from the West....a man of previous experience who has lived on the edge. The good ole days.

Sounds like you really don't want to quit but looks to me you have to.

Garlic Chicken worded it best and I can't top that.

At least you see the problem and you can do something about it.

Grow old, be with your family and enjoy life.

This shit is not worth it when you get to the point where you are.

Time to go a different direction with your life.

The man the myth the legend!

Hope all is well with you!

Haven't seen you around much, what's new?

I am prescribed Adderall, have been forever, try to take smaller doses, don't use as much caffeine, on days you can afford to be sluggish don't take it, give your body breaks, this shit is Amphetamines, this shit is like using NOS on a car. Eat a lot of regular oatmeal for cholesterol! Drink a lot of water, do some yoga like sessions where you learn to lower your heart rate and blood pressure through breathing and calming your mind.

Adderall at small doses doesn’t really affect my blood pressure. Tea and coffee does. But I couldn’t figure out the root cause yet. One day I have normal BP during the day and elevated at evenings for no reason. Anyways will be seeing cardiologist soon and will fix it. Tren almost gone from my blood. BP is almost the same. My blood is not really thick. So not sure what’s going on

I never went above 4iu, usually 2-3IU. But I do it daily. I'm on low doses of gear never went high. Only primo I went high because it's super mild.
So according to the doctors it's blood pressure. I also have thick blood which raises BP as well. Never was able to donate. I will have to start. Btw, how circumin helps ?

That's my point, all those people who were giving tips and advices have enlarged heart but never did ultra sound

Have you ever done echo ? Looking at your profile photo I can tell you have enlarged heart as many other lifter.

I have an echocardiogram done annually and I have never had results show heart enlargement. If you could tell by someone's photo they have heart enlargement then alot of specialists would be losing money, lol. I don't even train intensely or often enough to have heart enlargement and I keep my cycles at 500mg of total gear. Plus I never go above 190lb bodyweight. Alot of that is also genetic.

I know you're frustrated bro, but you're just gonna have to come to terms with using less gear and probably avoiding tren if you want to minimize any further heart enlargement. There's no way around it.

garlic chicken said it great. but if your young it wont hit you until your 40, 50s

HGH seems like a likely culprit

Plus the gear. It's a recipe for cardiomyopathy.

I love the people that don't take LVH seriously. Sure it happens in athletes. But most lay off the extreme workouts and PEDs and stay healthy once they reach a certain age. Left untreated and exaggerated with PEDs, it catches up one day. But those who don't care will come to know one day.

I will add to this, Adderall is one of your main problems. You weren't prescribed it, obviously, so stop being a dumbass.

If you mix Adderall daily with an Antihistamine, you're dead. They interact like a bastard.

And you said you take it for school? Shit if you're that young stop being a pussy and man up. You don't need Adderall for school.

Not being a prick, but come on man, you're smarter than this, I hope. You can't fix an enlarged heart, there is ZERO was to decrease it. The only thing you can do is stop all the nonsense and recover your life. You will probably be fine if you quit now.

I speak from experience, the heart is not a liver and it doesn't recover like a liver. It's the most serious organ you possess.

I found a few reasons for high blood pressure. It’s already better. I’m measuring it 5-10 times a day.

How was your echo ? Did you notice effect of HGH?

I bet most of people who commented here don’t know a lot about enlarged heart and don’t really do echos...

I have no idea whether I have an enlarged heart and have not done an echo.

What reasons did you find for the blood pressure issue, and what did you change to lower it?

What made you do the echo in the first place (just curious)?

I do heart ultrasound every year. This year my heart enlarged more. Left ventricle is enlarged. The numbers are still ok. The wall between ventricles enlarged 0.9mm more reaching 14.9mm.
How to stop this process ? I'm on 250mg of T and 2-3iu of HGH and during blasts I can do:
1. Primobalan 800-1000mg a week. I assume it won't affect heart that much.
2. 100mg of tren + 250-300mg of Mast a week.

100mg of tren is way less than most of people do. It still provides great results. It also causes side effects, like sweating, insomnia, and blood pressure. I'm going to drop tren completely or keep it below 80mg/week on rare blast. What else I can do ? Thanks
Ah, I see you do this every year? Is an ultrasound and an echo the same thing or different? Cost?

LOL, you are the pussy. Stop talking like that. I have to tell you a secret, adderall won't make you alpha from a pussy. I'm prescribed adderall by a doctor. Also, I spent a few days without adderall and BP didn't change. I'm taking a very low dose.

For every smart ass on this forum, I had a slightly increased blood pressure since I was 20. Who knows why, but it is what it is. With age it became too high and now needs treatment.

Thanks for everyone's useless input except of Garlic Chicken and may be a couple more ppl who truly know their shit. I went to cardiologist and was prescribed lisinopril. My BP is ideal now. Also, lisinopril shown to reverse enlarged heart. In my case I caught the issue early enough, so there is no risk for heart attack if the heart size will stay at least the same.

^ Hes absolutely right. Adderal affects your heart adversely via its interactions with blood pressure and heart rate over longer periods of time it damages the cardiovascular system.

Didn’t even think of that but you gotta get off thst shit.

Its time to stop brother. This is the nature of the beast we play with. Steroids are not a freebie we will all pay for their use in some way. Consider yourself one of the lucky ones. You found out before its too late. Be safe my man!

I'm the pussy? Who's taking Adderall because they can't keep their little school grades up? Does mommy pack your lunch and include a banana to shove up your ass at recess?

All bullshit aside, keep taking Adderall. Be sure your life insurance is intact in case you have a family. Some people like you are just too stupid to accept the truth. Lowering your blood pressure with a medicine will not help heart disease. And also, you're dreaming if you think you can shrink an enlarged heart. Christ, stop being an idiot.

Quit or possibly die. I've read HGH and Deca will enlarge your heart.

All steroids affect the heart brother. It's a muscle just like any other in the body. I have been telling men for years to make sure they understand the possible consequences from pushing the plunger.

Although I don't agree with the personal attacks, I do feel that no adult truly needs to be taking Adderall. Or anyone for that matter, but if you have a super hyper kid I can kind of understand, but an adult should be mature enough to function without it.

Argon,

I wasn't attacking him, he was attacking me. He didn't want to hear the truth. I speak from experience. I just had a heart attack not even a week ago. I was on Adderall (prescribed). So in his case, you take an already enlarged heart, add some elated BP to it, then throw a major stimulant on top. It doesn't equal happy times I can tell you that.

He needs to man up and get his shit together.

Adderall is prescribed for night and graveyard shifts without issue.

It is not the devil but all drugs have benefits and side effects.

I am not scared.

A good friend of mine started getting winded after a couple sets he thought it was his age and lack of good diet
But he was trending with a heart only working at 20%
He told the Doc about his drug use as a kid and small amount of aas.
The Doc said from genetics and the coke and stimulants and the fact that he was naturally swol already he did not ever use much aas but his size was over the recommended weight his heart was always working harder.

Well after a year of some meds they had gave him it went down to a 60%.
His heart was like a chuck roast with a small amount of room inside to pump blood.

It's been two years and now he has gotten on trt from another doctor.

He was one of those guys who would do 30 days anadrol 50mg
Then take anavar 50mg for another 30 days to shred and that would be his yearly thing.
Or dbol.
He only did that about 5 times.

NOW he has super low t
And a heart barely pumping 60% of its ability.

Not sure the meds they gave him but they told him they do not always work.

I hear ya man, I was more referring to the back and forth between you two.

In gotta say, this is coming from someone who quite obviously does not have ADHD. If you did, you'd understand how hard it is to constantly lose focus and forget important tasks all day long. It's horrible.

That said, there is a right way to use it and a wrong way. I'm prescribed the lowest dose, 20mg. And I take only as much as needed, only when I'm working or doing some other task that requires a lot of focus. I also take as many days off as possible so I don't build tolerance and have to take more. It's not healthy, but it not really bad when used in moderation.

I also don't know where the antihistamine reaction theory came from, because there isn't any. I take 5mg Xyzal and 10mg Zyrtec with it daily, have for years. There's no interaction except possible drowsiness.

Exactly. I've been on it when I was a kid and for the last 10 years as an adult. It allows me to function at my full potential all of the time

Does he have a 60% ejection fraction or 60% of actual potential? Because 60% EF is normal. I'm assuming he's around 35-40% EF

That sucks though. The coke might eventually cause electrical issues via voltage gated electrolyte channels, that's the biggest issue with it.

He probably had untreated high blood pressure for a long time that really did the work.

Hope all turns out alright for him. The heart is nothing to mess with

Not sure he just said only 60% of the blood it should be pumping is able to go threw because the walls surrounding his heart were so beefed up. It just filled inner part instead of growing out ward.
I told him he doesn't need trt but he is crazy like fawk it die swol.
Not good cause he is a good friend.
Half Samoan half asain.

I read a study a few years ago about genetics/heart failure and disease rates..... I remember reading Samoan blood lines in the study. As in, more probable for heart related issues ... possibly due to growth rates themselves. It’s interesting to look into because we all know people who are straight as an arrow dying of heart failure and heart related things.

obviously drugs on top is icing on the death cake but....

live free (Happy) or die, amirite?

How is that quite obvious? I may very well be undiagnosed ADD as I can't focus for crap on alot of days unless I have a bunch of caffeine. What kind of jobs are we talking about that require so much focus? Finance, accounting, actuary, lab tech? Cause honestly most professions such as being a nurse, doctor or lawyer require more expertise than concentration. I know I'm a slow learner due to lack of focus so I'm choosing a career path that relies more on expertise over constant intense concentration. I just think people with ADD just need to find what they're suited for because I think it would suck to have to rely on Adderall to function in daily life. If you use it to help power through an exam or a really hard day I can understand.

I will add my own recent experience to this thread (I am 41 years old).
This is the second time that this issue (sinus node dysfucntion) had occurred, the first time back in February 2019, the doctors could not find what was wrong. Fast forward a year and a half.
I had 5 sinus node dysfuction episodes in one day (a few weeks ago). So my heart stopped beating 5 times, and I was clinically dead, according to the EKG. The longest I was "out" was 30 seconds. The first episode caused me to crash my car, luckily I was alone in the car, and did not hurt another driver. Long story short, I was the recipient of a pace maker. Yes, I have slight LVH, but my "plumbing is great". The electrical portion of my heart is not. Do I have heart issues in my family, NO. Is the cause of the sinus node dysfuction AAS use? I am going to lean on the side of YES. As I was in the hospital I looked at a ton of journal articles regarding AAS use and electrical issues in the heart. Most if not all the researchers came to the conclusion the AAS use has a direct impact on the electrical function of the heart.

Take my experience for what it is worth. Be careful and stay health and safe.

Thank you for telling us about it. I already have electrical issues and a slight arrhythmia (PVC) that only flares up when my blood pressure gets too high or when I'm under a lot or stress.

Do you think it's the AAS themselves or other things like stimulants?
