Picking up seafood right now! I have a bunch of “Alaskan Seafood Co” fish & shellfish but, I am out of halibut ! My fave . Will be posting my creations !!

Love seafood. If I lived in Maine I would eat lobster every week. I love my salmon though never had halibut though. What’s it comparable to? Is it pretty oily like salmon?

Halibut is the best, it is the cleanest tasting fish, it falls apart into sections that melt in your mouth. It isn’t oily at all so the usually sear in butter or grill. It is also great deep-fried. It is a fish that I would serve someone who doesn’t usually like seafood because it isn’t fishy at all.
About $32-$40 a lb. White Steak but falls apart with the touch of your fork. Definitely try it. It is better than any Grouper, but close in characteristics . Very different looking at it though when you see one . (Looks like a Massive Flounder (390lb) , I caught a 78lb , they have to shoot them before bringing onto boat . They whip and can break a leg. We caught 440lbs in Homer, AK . Yielded 225lbs of filets and cheeks .

Make sure you book the “Full day trip” and get the Famous “capt. Tony” he has a French Last name and has won the “Homer Derby “ twice! That is why we booked him but he lets you use his amount of tins limit for yourselves - that was 2 more halibut ! Plus lingcod (which is almost as good) then Salmon fish on the Kenai , go digging for Razor Clams , it was an awesome 10 day trip . We had rented a Winnebago, it was brand new and too big for 5 of us. We had a blast !

Getting the Air Fryer going ! Everyday since I’ve had it , I have been testing/trialing different dishes. I am starting to like this thing ! If you properly prep the food and season it; it is fast, everything has a better texture and I am able to make Faux (fried foods) like Breaded Fried Fish/Shrimp Tacos, My chicken tenderloins are a joy to eat. I’m letting them soak in FF buttermilk, Louisiana Hot Sauce today tomorrow and I use Organic (RIce, Tapioca, or Almond flour. Then egg/water, and roll in Kikkoman Gluten Free Panko. I let them sit on a rack in freezer just for 20-30min so no dripping and I am telling you. Game changer ! I wiped that butter off , BTW .

Had some great organic whole (AIRFRYER) chicken with par boiled stone potatoes (multi-colored), with roasted Brussels. I barely sprayed the veges with Avocado oil and to save time; I did the Brussels in the oven while the chicken & taters in the air fryer . It was phenomenal, I think I with spatchcock(split the chicken in halves next time) for a quicker cook. Been super busy working and hope to buckle down real tight on my training . I have been doing some instinct training pre- or post workout. Keeping to the game plan and let me tell you, it is a long journey now that Classic has come into play. Size has to be a lot larger in the muscle groups while staying aesthetic & keep symmetry.

I will be doing a customized, 6 day bodybuilding program. Days 1, 3 and 5 are my bread and butter compound lifts; Days 2, 4, and 6 are more targeting isolated muscles using manual-weighted and Machine lifts for improvement of Calves, Abs, Isolated Arm muscles, hamstring/glutes/low back. Here is what I make after Thanksgiving/Christmas : I get a good Artisan Roll (Italian sourdough*) fresh and crisp up , add mayo one side/my fresh cranberries on other , line with leftover turkey, Stuffing/dressing, gravy !!! OML, it is so good , cold:hot:whatever ! I can eat them all day! They were even good on the Trader Vics Gluten Free Sub Rolls!

Looks tasty. Since all my kids have Merced out and live 1500 miles away usually it’s just me and the wife so we only get a small turkey or a turkey breast. Leftovers don’t last long.

Best not to waste food! I buy whole turkey breasts (non injected) sometimes and use the Instapot on it with kosher salt & pepper , seared off and cooks pretty quick . About the highest (almost zero fat ) protein and I can add to salads , sandwiches/wraps, Omelettes, Even Nachos ! When I’m on the road for short jobs and don’t have a kitchen , here is example of my pics knowing I have to eat in room or on the go. Trying to avoid eating out (unless client).
