Made it to my cousins house so didn’t get my Saturday workout in. Went to his gym and it was quite pleasant. They make you carry sanitizer, 2 towels and have rules but it was so Rad to see people training and the staff was relaxed(saw people doing high fives), lol. I promised to grill up some of my famous chicken pork and beef tonight; so I am just going to do mixed grill kabobs; so people can pick what they want. Everyone has some diet issue. All bullshit besides 2 people in family have celiac which is a disease. They are the ones who are activist types or weird, but I don’t say anything. Except to my one cousin(male) he is 20 and decided to become vegetarian and has stuck it out for 6 months so I make some bad ass Portabella Mushrooms; they taste just like steak when I’m done without the chewiness. I will be here thru the weekend and then back home. I was teetering on equipment for a while and always come back to Rogue; but I am going to check out places around here since this is a great area for sports and shopping. Glad I have a Free week pass! I am sitting strong at 225-226, but still lean. I definitely am going to up my calories over 5,000 because my metabolism(even TRT) is super high. I seem to be able to eat a ton. My cheat day is almost always Italian food. Veal Cutlets, Big bowl of Pasta w browned butter, garlic, fresh Parmesan Reggiano or Greek Myzithra (sheep’s cheese), and sides of Italian Sausages. My point is I go well over 5-6k on that one day (2 cheat meals), but I will not change that. I am going to add in some more Carbs at breakfast and post-post workout solid meal. Beans-Rice together or an added pasta(which I avoid) I have to find unenriched organic. People ask but you eat burritos ED; which is true but I make my tortillas now. I only used El Paso or recommend them because they last over 1-1.5 years until opened. It took years of making fresh corn, flour, tortillas, flat bread-pita, and bread. I am still perfecting pizza crust. I have perfected the tortillas, I use King Arthur Flour, Unenriched, Unbleached Flour, 20 lb. it comes in 4/ packs of 5lb bags online. Finding unenriched is super hard to do as the US has been adding vitamins to food since back in the 50’s ! I only have two main rules and avoiding - high fructose corn syrup and enriched flour are my two biggest changes that help me stay lean and in shape. If you go look through everything in a package, can, or box, any snack food and it will have one or both of those. Like 85-90% of food. I have plenty of minor rules but those two and avoiding Soda/Alcohol are some others. I do get San Pellegrino or Topo Chico sparkling mineral water (love grapefruit) once or twice a week; it was the only way I was able to quit soda pop about two years ago. I am a huge fan of cold brew coffee, tea and caffeinated products and am able to spend more on food by cutting out the other stuff. Just some advice to further your your health. I am working with another bodybuilder to make my new plan which will be just a bit different as I am using a commercial gym for Legs. I am going to use my gym for everything else. I didn’t want to but, unless someone had a hack squat- leg press and an abduction/adduction machine for $1500; I need them; so gym it is. I am going to put on as much quality weight possible so my plan might have some switches as well. By next weekend I will finalize it. It was hard just deciding to hit the gym for leg day(machines) because I built this gym to keep me out of the mix. I get a ton of (very nice people) that I know and total strangers, staff that wanna hang out, chat, or workout because I trained people since forever really. It became overwhelming and I am very nice; even the Bose Headphones, skull cap, eyes down does not work. I average about 20-50 moments where someone is trying to get my attention. Even people I like.
