That's exactly what I had in mind. Been eating A LOT of seafood and chicken breast so the red meat was for the cals specifically

I like sirloin and ribeye as well. I wonder how much fat is in a 8-10oz cut. It’s probably insane I try to avoid it when cutting and stick with flank or other shoe tough cuts.

Well I'm happy with the protein numbers but that's a lot of fat

That is bone-in. Boneless, trimmed is less than half that . A bit more than my strip. They add that fat side that I trim off after cooking (med rare) !

I can tell, just by looking . I think Bodybuilders pay close attention to trimming off the extra fat they know they don’t need. Tastes so good but, you will be back to dry ass chx breasts and light whitefish so, enjoy it now!

Mine was boneless

boneless is so much better IMO. Those bone in rib-eyes are good but I like boneless better.

If you want to enhance the flavor and increase the tenderness try dry curing that boneless ribeye for 30 days in the fridge before you grill/cook it, 2 weeks at a minimum but you will notice a big difference in flavor if you push it out to at least 21 days.
Have to keep in mind that at 21-30 days a steak can lose up to 30% of its volume.

Wrap it in some cheese clothe. In wrap and reward every 5 days. Right before cooking trim any dried/hard pieces. Damn good stuff.
