Good evening men. I didnít want you guys to think I was dead or had forgotten an update, have just had a crazy weekend. The wife and I listed the house with a realtor so weíve been busting our asses making it show-ready. Took today off from training so we could take some extra time to fix some things for a showing tonight. Back at it hard and heavy tomorrow

Not looking forward to the day when I have to get the house perfect to show. A kiddo really has a way of wrecking things. I'm sure there's all sorts of stuff he's done I haven't even found yet.

Thanks brother. Means a lot. Things have calmed down here for the most part. The local police and state police here wonít let the bullshit going on in Seattle or Portland happen here.

Yeah itís definitely been a long few days but we donít have kids yet so weíve had the benefit of not wrecking everything ourselves. Hopefully it sells quickly

So today was a bit of a ball-smoker. Woke up at 5AM to take the new combat fitness test with our brigade leadership. Something about me: I despise running. Like to my fucking core. Sprints? Thatís too easy. Even something like a 1,000 meter sprint, no problem with that. But the Army and USMCís obsession with longer distance running has always infuriated me, especially given that Iíve NEVER ran or sprinted for longer than 300 meters in a combat situation. So I donít run except twice a year for my semi-annual fitness test. So I havenít ran really in around 7 months, and still managed to get a 570 out of 600 this morning. Then worked all day, THEN walked my dogs with the wife, THEN hammered out this training session. Needless to say, Iím eating and passing out men.

    Floor Press:
    Warm-up:
    135X15
    225X10
    255X5

    Working Sets:
    275X3
    285 - 4X3

    Flat DB Bench:
    85ís - 3X12
    Super Set with Cable Crossoverís:
    100lbs - 3X10

    Bent Over Barbell Rows (strict):
    135X15
    185X8
    195 - 4X6

    Chin-Ups:
    3X10
Super Set with Close Grip Cable Tricep Extís:
    100lbs - 3X12

I think the main reason is that most people are super uncomfortable with squats, especially heavy squats. Nobody wants to be uncomfortable or do something that is difficult. What those people donít get is that the more you do it, the better you are at it and the more comfortable you become. I love squats, and I never got bigger or stronger until I started squatting consistently

I preach that if it makes you uncomfortable; it is okay! You are obviously using new muscle, etc that havent been used and need to! And your right, after a while , they master it and it becomes easily done. I like uncomfortable exercises because of that reason. Shaking everywhere with these bands feels odd , but they are activating all kinds of tissue to grow, improve!
