I as well kept some DQ still, lol. Seems now we have a lot better dong pills than 2 yrs ago, . Yeah, selling a girl in Alaska is a NO go! It was an all male trip ! . They want St.Tropez type Sun!!

So I decided to switch my training to push pull legs this week.

I was trying to add volume to the fortitude training split I've been using the last nearly two years and it was just too much. To properly do FT you have to genarate a LOT of intensity and by the time I got to my last body part I was just so gassed I couldn't muster up that amount of energy.

I could have split up the FT but I just didn't see the point. Plus I needed a little change of pace.

I will still work in muscle rounds in certain spots but I'll have a little more freedom with what I'm doing.

    Nope

Blood sugar has went down around ten points in the mornings since adjusting diet a bit. Typically it's been 85-90 (depending on if I'm low or high carb the previous day) and around 108 mid way between meals.

All good signs my plan is working as intended. I've also been using 4iu orange tops daily for a few months so, the eighties on fasted blood sugar is very good atm.

    Example of my leg day.

    Safety bar squats - 3 sets 8-10, 1 set 4-6
Leg press - 2 sets of 40 seconds total, no resting
    Adductor - 4 sets 10-12
Quad extension - 2 sets 10-12, 2 sets with the same weight with 3 drop sets
    Calf shit

This day has no added intensity techniques besides the drop sets on extensions and the total time sets.

I drastically reduced tempo on this day to try and save my knees but, I've been doing this across all body parts for a while.

    Safety bar squat - 315*10, 10, 10 365*6
    Leg press - 4pps 40 seconds 15 reps, 12 reps
    Adductor - 170*12, 12, 10, 8
    Extension - 65kg*12, 11, 10/8 3 drops per set all to failure

Good on ya for the tempo. I feel it will increase my longevity as a lifter. Damn knees ! My brother in law cannot do squats or leg extensions, but he is strong and his legs are big
6𗇳/2 . I always try and research things he can do but, he isn抰 into bodybuilding; yet he built a home gym and he works out 4 days a week. Work and marriage is his priority, so I understand. He really enjoys training with me when he gets the chance . His is in the garage all DIY. He loves to build and make stuff. Air Force. Keep up the constant improvements

Around seven weeks into my cruise I think? Will have to look and see. Maybe I'm way off.

Anyways, diet has been going good. Down around 250-251 when I'm waking up. Hasn't been a very big drop in weight but I'm much tighter and appetite is getting better every day.

Will keep on the current route until I stop seeing progress, patience is the name of the game.

No plans right now other then continue to improve my weakest points while just growing overall.

After my last show I looked over what was lagging the most and, what do you know, they were areas that I didn't focus on as well as I should have.

Mostly from the rear, hamstrings, glutes and back,as well as chest. I need everything to continue to grow but, those areas were the biggest weaknesses.

While my legs did grow a lot between my last shows, it was mostly quad and Adductor. For myself, squats and hacks just don't activate the glutes with my structure so, hip thrusts are an exercise I've started to use as well as feeling the glute stretch in rdl's and not just the hamstrings.

Back, it's always been tricky because I just can't feel it no matter the tempo or load. I've almost completely moved away from free weights (aside from Bb rows and rack pulls) for back and really focus on machines that I can kinda feel sometimes.

Chest, same thing. My delts over power my chest and even though my upper chest is decent from this but, the entire chest needs to grow.

I'll finish out this year really pushing food and poundage in the gym after my little mini cut I'm currently in to, regain a little insulin sensitivity and help appetite, and look at another show next year.
