We all have to take a look in the mirror, I could be wrong about my assumptions, you may not be racist, but you low key seem to be. You were basically gloating that white people would be the minority. Now, you may not have meant it that way but it came off that way. If i am wrong I apologize I only know what I know from your responses and we all know communication of any kind can be misinterpreted. it happens to me as well. That is why we as grown men continue to hash it out until we can come to an understanding, or agree to disagree.
As to whether I think It was right to take the land from the Indians, no, but in war all things are fair. There really is no honor in war like many think, only survival. You have to remember why whites that came here originally did. That was to get away from oppression, in this case of religion and basic freedoms. The Indians were not all buddy buddy either. There was plenty of land to go around but many tribes wanted to eradicate and in many instances did any new settlements. It was different times and while we should always learn from the past it is not fair to any descendants of any culture to hold them responsible for any past sins. I honestly believe you love America and I think in the end you and I would be fighting for the same reasons even if we were on opposite sides of the war(though I suspect we would be on the same side).
I think what happens with many today is they get caught up in labels. I view myself as American. Not as a White American. My wife is South Korean and she identifies as AMERICAN only. She means it too.... I see my fellow citizens as just Americans and I want them all to be treated fairly, but lately I see this push to label us all and drive wedges between us. I am falling for it too and I know it but I do not know what else to do. I can not just sit back and allow white people to quilted into giving up all that has been accomplished(by us all) and driven out, because from my perspective that is what is happening. I have been told by Hispanics many times we will out-breed you all and take over. Do you support that mentality? Because it doesn't sound like they are looking for equality to me. I hear the hate from blacks too. Do you see what I am saying? Do you understand how white people, even ones who would other wise be chill, start to get concerned? I think that would be true of any race.
I personally think the Indians were done shitty after losing the fight. That's the past though, today if they want to succeed they can.
I will share an XP I had in Phoenix AZ. I loved that area by the way. Good people mostly though I dated a Mexican girl and some essays were not happy about that. If you know that area at all I was mostly in Chandler area though I bounced around a tad and had dealings all over. It was chill compared to Cincinnati that is for sure. I never really felt it was a bad area over all. I worked with 3 Mexicans, 2 Indians, and another white guy. We all got along. We had a shit ton of fun!!! We all helped each other build cars. I learned a lot of Spanish. I kept flying back to visit my GF, now my wife. I left because I was unsure I should get married, but it showed me she was right for me. I wanted to live out there but understood she she didn't. What I am getting at is I think most people can and do get along. The past few years things are much more tense all over. Cincinnati is way better than the days when I loved there (I live in another state now) but when I loved there in ran in a gang, it was one of the craziest places to be in the mid 90s to mid 2000's.
One thing I have noticed regardless of culture, in America cars/trucks/hot rods/racing can bridge many gaps!!! I spent 6 mth in tent city for street racing. They took at the time the only twin turbo 1994 Ford Probe Gt in the country (that I know off) from me and crushed it. Bastards.... but I earned it.
