    Virus testing due to idiocracy

So I'm out of work waiting on my test results.

I was exposed to a member of my wives family who tested positive. All because a certain someone (under the same roof as mine) decided to go to dinner with this positive person after they notified them that they were exposed before hand. Accordingly, I'm stuck at home, waiting on results - prime example of people not using their damn heads in this pandemic and how this god forsaken virus spreads so easily.

Nope, paycheck is not taken care of. Not only that, but I will be given an attendance point for the total number of days I'm out. I didn't ask for this hahaha

So you’re staying at home with no symptoms because you were exposed?

They say the number of people infected last week was around 2.3 million and 121000 deaths making the mortality rate at 5%. Thats significant however after further antibody testing they said the real number of infected people far exceeds 20 million. That brings death rate down to less than 0.6%. Not even 1%. That discrepancy is huge y’all! This thing is real but a hoax at the same time. Not nearly as bad as they’d like you to believe.

Damn, and I thought my employer was shitty. I'd called BS on the attendance points though. Especially since it is *their* policy to make you stay home until cleared.

That's correct brother - my employer wont let me in the building until I have results. I have 0 symptoms.

wow that sucks amd is totally ridiculous. I don’t know what state you live in but I read in California they have a small task team that follows up “contact tracing” if they get their way they’ll be quarantining people that are positive to “slow the curve” of infected people according to a state official

    Yeah...
Insofar as the points that your incurring, I seem to remember some sort of legislation put forth protecting employees from this EXACT situation. Reason being, people wouldn't be so inclined to be honest out of fear of taking the points.
I just did a rudimentary Google search, but couldn't find anything.
See what happens when you try to do the right thing?
    Good luck fella.
