Trt protocol: Nebido every 6 weeks.


Hi guys, so ive been on trt for a couple of months, and i have a LOT of problems dealing with elevated e2 levels.

I’ve tried Arimidex 0,5mg once a week wich felt like I would die. Lost most of cognitive function etc.

Same goes for .25 and .8mg. Is it even worth trying half of .8mg?

I told this to my doc and he put me on nolvadex 40mg a day instead wich I feel is crazy high.

So currently I lowered it to 20mg myself.

My question really is, will tamoxifen really do jack shit for me to regain my libido.

From my understanding tamoxifen will only prevent tit growth and not much else beyond that. ( and increase in testosterone prod).

Sorry if I’m all over the place, can’t really bring my self to focus at this time.
 
Could you share the circumstances where a doctor would place a 22 year old on testosterone replacement therapy

Its kind of a long story but in 2018, i was diagnosed with Lyme disease, and I probably carried it for a while before it showed on the tests. During the time of carrying it for aprox 11+years. It became Chronic and symptoms were fautige, depression and low lowT levels.

FYI we checked all thyroid test and they were normal, I’ve checked them a two extra times since then to rule it out completely.

Now at the start of my treatment I was put on testogel (60mg), And it worked wonders, but after a while it stopped working.

We took e2 test to see where I was at and it was elivated quite a bit. And that’s where I am today.

I hope this clears things up a little bit, as I wrote earlier I couldn’t really focus that well at the time.

My question really is does tamoxifen remove ALL bad effects of high e2 symptoms, or does it only prevent estrogen from binding to the “for the lack of a better word”, cells in the nipple tissue if you were to have gyno.

You're still kind of all over the place. You've taken .25mg, .5mg, .8mg of adex every week (with no success) and you're asking if .4mg will make any difference? Why would .4mg make any difference when you've already tried .5mg? And if you're E is running out of control, then that little dab of adex isn't going to cut it. I'm surprised doc hasn't increased dosage and/or frequency.

So now I'm *guessing* because doc didn't give you enough adex, he is throwing in nolva because you're getting gyno? Would that be correct to assume? Is he giving you nolva AND adex currently? You should also post the full dosages of everything you are taking currently...adex, test, nolva (and anything else that might be missing from your posts).

The problem is I want to take arimidex, but the sides are to heavy for me. Even on 1/8 of a tab.

I told this to him and he told me I might have to change to another option and gave me Tamoxifen instead.

But since that’s a SERM and not Ai, it won’t really so anything right? And no, even though my E levels are going crazy, I don’t seem to face the growing nipple problem, I think he gave it to me to combat the E side effects (low libidio etc).

And to clarify, my levels did go down on 1/8th and all the other doses, but the sides are the problem.

Just curious that you are seeing a doctor which has your blood tests in hand and you are here asking for advise? I've been on TRT for 30 years and not once Nolva was recommended for estrogen control while on TRT. I would think Aromasin before Nolva. Also, trying to figure out what dosage of Test are you taking to jack up your E2?
