i do not pull back on plunger,, never will ,, should you?

ok guys,, my dad has never,, and i have never pulled back on a plunger when injecting with normmal size needles (21-25g) and 1-1\2 " long.

ive gotten soo much shit because of this,, i also feel people are wasting time , moving the needle more than they need to because they asperate ,,

the logic is the same on my side,, you are too deep and the needle is too big to go into a vein or artery , it will poke through it , not stay in it,,,

the blood you see isn't from being "in" a vein or artery rather from going through or nicking one,,,

a few days ago during my walk , I listened to this and almost shit my pants because dave says the same thing my dad told me ,, heres the link 1:06 is when he starts about it..

whats youre take guys>? I never have , my dad never has , I shoot , in the lat, delt , and quad.. at the moment,, and again , never had a problem,, my dad did his butt and delt ,peck..I belive he told me

To each their own. It takes a second to do it and you shouldn't be moving the needle *that* much. Unless...your hands shake already (like me) so it still doesn't matter cause the whole time I'm injecting, I'm twitching a bit anyway. Sucks getting old. Plus, the air bubble from aspirating serves its own purpose.

I will say this...it's a peace of mind thing. I guarantee some guy that fails to aspirate will have a freak out moment at some point because he failed to aspirate. And then there will be the "OMG, I think I screwed up" thread.

this is totally a matter of opinion. u can ask 100 people and 50 will say aspirate and 50 will say dont. ive had doctors/ nurses do it and ive had them not do it. i have never aspirated and ive never had a problem. but ive read where people think that if they wouldnt have, they would have shot it into their vein. i only use glutes, and i use 23 g 1.5 in. most guys use smaller rigs, but ive done hundreds of shots and have very little scarring or pip. maybe im just lucky, dont know, but ive never once aspirated. just MY experience.

After 300 or so injections, and aspirating every time, I've gotten blood in the barrel 4-5 times.
If I wouldn't have aspirated I'm almost certain the injection would have went into a vein and gone straight to the circulatory system. THIS ISN'T GOOD. It can actually be pretty harmful.
Why wouldn't you take 1 WHOLE second to aspirate? It's so easy.

Ive also never heard of someone dieing or having issues from not pulling back,,, soo maybe it is just a myth that caught on, and no real facts on why you should or shouldnt..

It's not a myth. It was (and still is in a lot of cases) common medical practice. If the nurse doing the work graduated over two years ago, they're probably aspirating. It's funny to hear nurses argue about this topic.

I'm waiting for the first guy that pins tren in a vein. It should be an epic thread.

It's not a myth, or it would be common practice to inject IV vs IM
