A better question is why can someone that is here illegally file a lawsuit?
 
They are taught everything they need to know in Mexico by American lawyers and paralegals. This is why immigration law firms are everywhere and so very successful now... they have full-time paralegals in Mexico teaching them 24/7
 
if her child died due to anything related to the detention center than maybe, if not I think she should get life in prison cause her negligence caused the death of her child

I personally know a few people who are fully employed to go across the border and teach those about to enter America illegally exactly what they need to know and to say and how to say it to Enter our country illegally and claim asylum- it’s not a stretch to think they are helped beyond that, even by the very people I know and call friends.
