IML Gear Cream!
Tell us gibbs, what's under the hood?
It is a 390 stroker, so 446 CI. It has a scat crank, diamond pistons, H beam rods, roller cam, rpm heads, tri power carbs, and direct port nitrous. It runs into a tremec too 5-speed and 9" 370 locker rear end.

351hp and 480 foot pounds of torque without the nitrous.

This is my 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS. Sorry, but it's difficult for me to just choose one pic to show you. I hope you guys enjoy these pics I've chosen to post here. I've been working on this for years now. I installed the engine and the entire drive train myself using the lift and hoist my brother has in his home garage. I had a body shop paint the car and do the body work. I have it running, but I have to install the master cylinder, brake lines, and the new wiring harness. It runs on pump gasoline, ( 93 octane) and is a naturally aspirated engine 632 cid with 802 HP@6,000 RPM and 775 ft/Lbs torque@4,200 RPM with a Lunati solid roller camshaft and has a Holley Dominator 1050 CFM carb and I have a 3.5" diameter mandrel bent full exhaust system that I'll be installing myself, ( it has open headers right now and is VERY loud).

I have drag radials for street driving and I'll be running bias-ply slicks at the drag strip. The car will run high 9 second quarter mile times on pump gas alone when I get it to the drag strip with the front tires off the ground during the starting line launch, (no nitrous oxide injection needed). I expect to turn 1.3 second 60 foot times with it. I installed an aftermarket Dana 60 rear end, and an aftermarket TH400 transmission with a transbrake for drag strip launching. I had to use a cut-off wheel and a sawzall to cut the top of the front cross member part of the frame to fit the engine in this car to avoid cutting a hole in the factory type stock hood. It's been a lot of work. I'll also be installing a 20 gallon fuel cell inside the trunk which has a built-in electric fuel pump inside the fuel cell which will remain submersed in fuel just like the new factory cars have. I have pictures of every aspect of the build, but if anyone wants to see more, then please ask because I didn't want to overwhelm nor bore anyone here with anymore pics than I've already posted here.

Here's one of the other cars I used to have. Not really a classic car though since it was a 2003 mercury Marauder that I bought brand new back then. it was all factory stock until a year later when I had 11,000 miles on it, I installed the supercharger shown under the hood shown in the one of the pics here. I also installed headers, and a custom exhaust, and changed the ring and pinion gears in the rear end myself to obtain a 4.56:1 ratio, and with those modifications, and the addition of drag radial rear tires, I ran consistent 12.2 second quarter mile times at the track on 93 octane pump gas alone with this very heavy 4,200 Lb tank of a car.

I pulled onto the scale at one of the drag strips I used to run it at, and with me in the car, and a half tank of gasoline in the tank, the car tipped the scales at a whopping 4,444 Lbs. So I was happy being able to manage 12.2 second ET's at the track, and one day a cold 38 degree december morning at another track, I ran a 12.007 second ET with a very slight amount of day light between the front tires and the asphalt for about a half second coming off the starting line. And I also included a crazy burnout video that I did one day, ( in case some of you guys might like that sort of thing)....this was actually the winning burnout video in a burnout video contest I entered, that was put on by the company that sold me the supercharger, which they did for their supercharger customers only, ( I won a free leather jacket, and bragging rights....big deal, eh? LOL). The company told us all upfront that their motive was to keep the winning burnout video, for use for their sales department to sell their superchargers.....

This car I had dynoed and it made 400 HP at the rear wheels on the chassis dyno, which equated to about 475 HP at the crankshaft, and that was also on 93 octane pump gas alone once I installed the supercharger.....
