I saw parts of that on Fox news, ( my guess is that NONE of the other so called "news" networks aired any of his statements). I salute and applaud mr. Owens for being a real man with integrity by sticking up for what's right and telling the Libtard politicians as well as the Liberal actor Danny Glover right to his/their faces during that congressional meeting how ridiculous it would be to legislate and mandate reparations, and how black people living today do NOT need reparations. It would've been so easy for Mr. Owens to jump on the bandwagon and stick up for such a ridiculous idea simply because his skin color happens to be black just as Danny Glover has. But instead, Owens stuck up for what's right, and for what's fair. BRAVO to him.

BTW there was also another black guy at that hearing who also sided with Mr. Owens, ( a much younger guy) but I really don't know who that other guy is.

In doing so, we will never have time to point out the fact our rulers are lying to us as well as robbing us blind. They perpetuate a constant "us vs. them" mentality in all forms of life. Again, it's the classic game of divide and conquer. Man, I'll tell you this, it warms my heart to see so many people of all colors waking up to the this system. Tall Deck, I just thought about something which coincides with my last lost. Please consider this for a moment.... Why wait for another great, wise, strong man like the beloved MLK? If we believe in what MLK said in the past and carry those words in our hearts then put them into action as he did....then in essence we are all MLK's. Imagine brother, instead of one MLK speaking liberty, justice, and peace, millions of MLK's speaking those words. Speaking those same powerful words in every city, every nook and cranny of every place on earth all at the same moment in time. Due to God's power and love for mankind, those words would become miracles, life changing events, world changing even. Our planet is in primed condition right this very second to see millions of MLK's all over the globe. All the people must do is realize it and put his words into works. Think about it.


I will also say one of the reasons I feel MLK's message was so vital was, in my opinion, it was ordained from God. The creator wants man to live in peace with one another. Unfortunately man's hearts have became twisted from worldly influence and greed.

I really hate to offer a cynical reply to those great thoughts that you shared above, but unfortunately I have to point out that as great as the words of MLK were, (and yes I DO agree with you on that) much of our world, ( including the USA) is stoked with a type of Tribalism mentality. people seem to be obsessed with others skin color!!! I do not get it. they're walking in spiritual darkness, and because of that, they completely overlook the fact that regardless of what a person believes or doesn't believe about God, all of us came from the same two people, or at least the same group of people.

Forget about "Ancestry.com" because if you go back all the way to the beginning of your family tree, you will find that the very beginning, (the trunk of that tree if you will) includes the start of all of our individual branches, regardless of who we are, what our skin color is, and where our grand parents or great grand parents migrated from. In the main scheme of things, it really doesn't matter. We're all from the same beginnings.

but so many people are so hopelessly caught up with their skin color as well as the color of others, that they're blinded to the truth. It really sucks!!! A friend of mine who happened to be a black woman, once told me something a couple decades ago that i was completely unaware of: she said that dark skinned black people are even discriminated against by light skinned black people!!! And she is a light skinned black woman, so she knew this all too well. I'm not meaning to pick on black people here by saying that. but that's just an example of how obsessed with skin color people are, (both black and white and many in between). It's crazy!!!

So I can garantee that if a white man was televised on the news broadcast as speaking words of the late great MLK, while some people like you and I would enjoy that, many whites would call him an "oreo" and many blacks would call him a fake white boy, cracker, etc. Not all, but many would, simply due to his skin color being different than the late MLK happen to have.

But on a positive note, I concur that the speeches that I've seen on video spoken by MLK were fantastic, and choked me up. The man's words reached down into my heart. He spoke so much truth, and some people just cannot handle the truth because they themselves prefer living in darkness. Have you ever read the letter that MLK wrote while inside the jail cell, and that he sent to a fellow southern pastor who happened to be white??? WOW!!!! Again, his words were fantastic!!! I don't believe there was any hate in that man's heart for any group nor for any skin color. I don't care what he was accused of. His words contained deep truth.

Yes, you're absolutely right. Those are some issues I failed to consider when I first had this concept/thought come to mind. It's almost like people want to hate other people, even if no reason exists. Don't get me wrong if people want to hate, that's their business, they're free to do so nor will I attempt to physically stop them. In my opinion though, when people are like this, it becomes their comfort zone. Without hatred they have no reason in life, no existence. It's strange to imagine people hating without any reason but "just because." Like you mentioned though, those people who want to hate, chose to hate, no matter what, they're out there. As we all know they come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and creeds. It's really sad to me, to think of people being so tormented by evil. When they could easily be set free of that pain. You see, to focus hate is to burden ones self. When I came to know Jesus Christ years ago that's one of the things I learned he can do for us. Lift heavy burdens of all sorts of pains from our hearts. All we have to do is by faith, believe in him and strive to walk in his spirit. This can be difficult to do and I can say honestly for me it is quite often. However, walking with Christ is far less painful than walking in the world.

I'd say reparations should only be given IF a return ticket home is included for every family member. along with a forfeiture of their id's and ss card. If they do not accept these terms no reparations are given .
Say 12% of the population is black/african out of 300 million in usa that would eliminate 36 million people from the USA.
The offer would have to be given to senators and such also along with ppl in prison.
