    pretty much the same here... I feel ok on 6 hours a night but I get up to piss once every night ... then attempt to fall back asleep and although I feel itís a struggle the alarm seems to go off right after I get to sleep, so it seems ..

    my wife has a fit bit she wears to bed that displays REM sleep through her phone. I notice when sheís getting good quality sleep she is less bitchy... I was thinking of getting one just to plot out my sleep habits.

    anyone else do the fit bit sleep thing?

    Believe me. It's not by choice.

    Sleep usually gets better over the summer since no need to check homeworks or help with studying. 4 weeks to go.

    Mine gets worse in summer. Kids won't stfu during the day for my naps or when I'm on nights

    So glad to see people call out this bs. Says he get 3 hours a sleep all the time, I've always thought that was absolutely horseshit and trying to sell this epitome of a warrior man image. I mean, yeah I'm sure he's a busy guy and I could even give him having a sleep schedule like that a day or two a week but to make it seem like he's some superhuman is honestly irresponsible for people who are looking up to him.

    I work weekend nights 12 hour shift plus I do work out on these days depending on gym schedule. I only get about 12-15 hrs of sleep from Friday to Monday morning. By then I'm spent. The next day off I end of pissing about 1.5-2 gallons of water from all the fluid retention from cortisol and stress. I usually have to sleep 12 hrs min to catch up from the weekend.

    Definitely not healthy or ideal but its where the money is.

    My sleep is constantly a problem. It always has been by nature; all the kids in my family fought going to bed like we were being murdered. Other families would remark on it.

    When youíre young you can get away with it.

    Now that Iím in my 40s, I also have to get up to pee and I fight with a damn sleep apnea mask.

    I know for a fact that you canít miss sleep, work out like a fiend, cut weight and be 40 years old all at the same time. Your immune system will run down and your body will make you sick so you have to take a break. Maybe I couldíve gotten away with it if I was eating in a surplus. But lack of sleep and calorie deficit means you just canít rebuild fast enough to stay healthy.

    Maybe there are outliers who really run on less sleep, there are outliers in everything. But aside from possibly not sleeping the Rock has every conceivable advantage.

    And people tend to generalize when describing their work ethic to default to a description of their most difficult days.
