Doing safety bar Squats I tweaked my leg and couldn't re rack that side of the bar..... Kinda awkward staring at people in the mirror staring at me staring at them lol.
At least one of the guys in those gym fail videos died.How about the dude that almost decapitated himself ?

I thought the guy doing a bench press, who had the barbell land on his neck might have died too. With many of the guys (and gals) in that vid, you can immediately recognize that they're much more extreme with their choice of poundages than their experience, ( or lack thereof) allows. The guy who had several hundred pounds on the squat bar, ( I think he was using 7 plates) may have been pretty strong, but it was clear that he had a lack of experience and knowledge about what he was doing simply by where he had the bar placed on his back. It was too high, and actually on his neck instead of down further on his traps where it needs to be.At least one of the guys in those gym fail videos died.
He was benching and his grip failed. Bar landed right on his chest. He was fine at first but was still sent to the hospital, where he later died. He wasn't an amateur either. Think he was in the midst of a PL competition.
I cringe when I see these vids. Don't like seeing people hurt to that degree. Even if it was preventable.
LOLOLOL!!!!!! I've never seen so many morons in my life!!! Why would you load up a barbell to perform squats, without having some type of safety catches in case you cannot complete the rep?? And even worse, why would you have a safety device, and have it set way too low to safely retain the bar??? Maybe some people should be trying to build their minds a little bit instead of their muscles. I did feel kinda sorry for that guy who looked to be a victim of a cable letting go on a machine.
Yeah that's what it looked like that guy's gym had in the vid. I won't use those. I would rather use saw horses at home than use those ones at some gyms that are too low. Even with something primitive like saw horses, they're still at a good height for most people...... Gym I go to has squat racks where the fixed safety catches are set so low that they are basically useless. You'd have to fall on your ass in order for them to catch the bar....

Scary thing is that those stutter steps are the ones that cause tweaks or injuries. They catch you out of your element.I did the same thing once except I just missed a clip on one side. Did a little stutter step trying to reset. Scary but I wasn’t moving weight I absolutely couldn’t control so it worked out.

I think my two favorites were the guy on squat that as soon as the safety was released he crumbled.
Then the dude jumping in between the other two brahs and accidentally kicking one of them in the face. I busted out laughing at that one.
I feel JSwole on squats and leg press. People load up the weights and barely move an inch if even an inch at all and they think they are hot shit. I think to myself, 'I hope you die soon', but I hate most people.

Was getting my bench going and was half watching some pussy. I was adding 25 to each side but wasn't paying attention and put both plates on the same side.
I felt it immediately after taking it off the rack and was able to put it back under control.
