Nice, I saw Godsmack in a bar room when they started. Unreal then. They started a few towns over. I knew it then. Sick training music. Lead singer is a good hockey player to boot !

Your right Skip...the guy is good...in fact...one of the best. I saw a documentary on him not too long ago. He went through some rough times in his life and completely quit drumming for a while.

Now I'm dating myself and don't get me wrong, I love Rush (saw them three times in the 80's), Metallica (saw them August 83 with Anthrax and Raven), Ozzy ( saw first Ozzy concert March 82, last concert Randy Rhodes played in, he died the next day in plane crash). However, Buddy Rich was cool before cool was cool, you can hear him in all the great drummers.

Nice...and I am an old fart like you haha. I appreciated the good music of the early 80s as I was just finishing high school back in those days.
