Pinned right VG today which is my favorite spot. Easiest to access, I can use both hands and usually no PIP. Also ended up pinning 50mgs of test base into my left tricep preworkout. Did a small dose since I haven't tried this brand before and I suspected that this brand was dosed properly versus the other brand that I used prior.


I definitely crushed todays workout. I AMRAP'ed 215x5 on bench which is a rep PR for me, and then immediately after felt like I had a lot of juice in the tank so I threw on 225 and hit it for a double. It's been a long time goal of mine to do 225 ever since my tennis elbow injury and now I finally got it. I definitely felt like this test base was way stronger than another brand that I have used and it definitely pushed me through the workout. Hit my accessories and smashed everything and did not fatigue at all. Overall, probably one of the best workouts I've ever had for a long time.

Sorry I haven't been logging guys. I'm gonna do 3 days in 1 go right here. I've been coming straight home from work, right into the workouts and then knocking right out after eating. Been so exhausted lately and its brutal. Will do my best to keep the log up to date.


I destroyed this fucking squat session. I've never done 275lbs ever before so this is a life time PR for me. On top of smashing it with 9 reps, I think I got a lot more left. Hoping to hit 315x5 squat before this cycle ends. Also I pinned test base in my tricep on that Monday. PIP hurts like a mofo.

Typical rest day. Tricep is swollen as hell. Theres a huge lump from the test base. Slowly starting to subside throughout the day, but it hurts lol. Pinned the rest of my shit in left VG. Left side is always hard since I usually cramp up trying to turn, and my left hand is shaky as hell. DHB pip has been fairly manageable so far with the exception of that one time I pinned both delts.


Also decided to back down a little bit on calories for rest days. Only dropping it 5%, noticed I was getting a tiny bit sloppy, not a bad thing, but I want to keep it in control. I've gained about 1.5% BF and a total of 10lbs so far on this cycle. A pretty good start since I'm a little over the half way mark.

Finally caught up on 3 days of logging. Again, I apologize for not keeping up to date, I'll do my best. Doing 3 logs in one day is kinda a bitch so I don't want to do that ever again. One a day is not too bad haha.


I noticed lately that I've been destroying weight and rep PR's all over the place. Progress is looking extremely good. Most of my lifts are climbing pretty quickly. I do need to be cautious not to injure myself. I feel my elbow tendonitis hurting a little bit during workouts so I stretch them every now and then.


Hit OHP 150x7 which is a rep PR for me again. Then straight into 135lb 5x5s. I couldn't do it for all 5 sets as the weight was a little too heavy, was supposed to only do 120s so I ended up dropping it back down to the intended weight for the last two sets. Still planning to hit 185 lbs soon. I really want it, but don't want to rush the program. I trust the programming as so far it's been going great. 5/3/1 has such a awesome progressive overload built into it.


Noticed my delts and arms are really getting full. Hopefully I can grow a little more before the cycle ends.

So as I mentioned before. I'm gonna start eating a little less on rest days. Anywhere from 2600-2800 calories is where I'm shooting for.


So this is the first time in a long time that I've had PIP in my glute that was very uncomfortable. The DHB PIP definitely snuck up on me, but it was most likely because I decided to pin on the extreme outer ridge of my glute which I don't normally do. I usually go about 1" in from the very outside. I had a hard time getting into my car and getting out today when I was trying to go donate blood.


On the note of giving blood. I was running EQ up until a few weeks ago and I was for sure that I wasn't going to pass the hemoglobin test due to high RBC, plus I didn't have any aspirin on hand so I just winged it. Went in took my blood pressure and hemoglobin. Blood pressure was 107/65 and hemocrit was at 14. I was for sure thinking that I was gonna get flagged and denied, but that went well I guess. Does anyone know if DHB raises RBC levels?


Also.. It's been 2 weeks since I've stopped using HGH. While the sides have gotten a tiny bit better. I still am getting trigger finger / fingers locking up when I make a fist. It doesn't happen as frequently but still definitely happens several times throughout the day. It's really annoying. Hoping it goes away within the next week or so.

Personally. I think it helps. At one point my tennis elbow was really bad and the pain wouldnt stop. After a few weeks on it, the pain subsided. Nowadays the pain only comes here and there.

So this week is deload week. I've been long overdue for a deload since my last one was about 9 weeks ago. With 7 weeks left in my cycle, I figure if I do a deload now, I'll have just enough time for two 3 week blocks which is perfect to end on. My elbows have been feeling a bit of pain here and there since last week, which is understandable since I basically PR'd every workout last week, All of which were fairly huge jumps too.


I basically skipped a few exercises, did a lot lighter weight and a lot of reps. Basically training for a pump only. Nothing super heavy.


Pinned my dose in left glute today. For some reason it took forever for the oil to go through, it seemed extra thick for some reason even after I had spend extra time to heat it up in water. My hands were a little shaky so I'm praying there's no PIP as a result of that.

Sorry for the lack of logs for the past few days. Valentines day and a couple of other things came up and didn't get a chance to workout or log. Luckily this week is deload for me so it was easy to skip the workout. I usually don't like to skip workouts, in fact, I haven't skipped a scheduled workout for 6 months up until yesterday.


Pinned right VG. Still got some bit of pip from my left glute pin on Wednesday. A little uncomfortable, but as usual, pretty manageable. I'm also back on HCG and will be on until I finish this cycle. Doing 250 iu's once every 4 days.


Promised I would get some progress photos up so here they are. I definitely got bigger and fuller, but I do feel like I got little bit chubbier as a result. That's to be expected on any bulk so I'm not too worried about it. I can always cut back down later and will likely add some anavar as a finisher to clean up a little bit. I'll have to see how I feel about that though.

Finally finished with deload so I'm pretty excited to finally get back to some weights. Hit a 200x8 AMRAP set for my bench press. After that my shoulders were feeling super taxed so I wasn't able to hit much of my 5x5 bench and my 5x10 overhead presses. I only made it to 8 reps for most of my sets due to shoulder fatigue. Managed to push through my accessories for some added pump.


Today, I weighed in at 210.8 LBs, which is an all time high. Kinda crazy. I feel a bit bloated so not sure if the weight is water or fat or muscle. Regardless, I think this bulk is going okay. I'm excited to see what the next few weeks will look like.

Had a pretty decent leg day today. I didn't break any PR's but managed to hit 10 reps on my AMRAP set of 265 lbs. Definitely feeling good.


Decided to add a new variation of squats using the safety squat bar today. It was a little weird and hard to get used to, but I think in time I'll be able to figure it out, Just need more time under the bar. Its a really good variation as it feels almost like a front squat and really targets the quad heavily. Excited to get the weight higher on that. Was a little cautious on the weight today since I didn't know what I could hit so I leaned pretty conservatively.

So today is the first day and first time trying Anavar, I figure I'll start off with 40mg daily. Usually I'll plan to do 20mg AM, 20mg Pre-workout/PM for the next 4-5 weeks, but today I did the entire 40mg preworkout. I've heard rumors that the pumps are painful, but I didn't realize how painful. Had an extremely heavy shoulder day today, managed to do a 145x10, almost 11 reps, but I wasn't able to lock that out. The pump in my shoulders were so insane that it literally hurt. I was in pain for almost the entire work out. It was insane... Awesome, yet not awesome at the same time. I finally understand what Arnold meant in the Pumping Iron movie about THE PUMP. It fucking hurt though. Not sure how some of you guys do 100mgs, but at 40mgs that was insane.


Hoping the Anavar cleans me up a little bit as I gained a little bit of fat on this bulk. I'm actually excited for the strength gains from it too. Hoping to hit my strength goals for this cycle and with everyone going great so far, it looks like I'll be able to.

Do you have plans for a future cut? You started out fat, and you keep posting that you are adding fat. You are going to have a long, hard road to getting lean if this keeps up.


I AM NOT TROLLING - I just hate to see you add anymore body fat when your levels were high to begin with. Cuts are hard, psychologically, and you are greatly increasing the time you are going to need to spend cutting. You won't be lean before next winter at this rate (just in time to want to cover up and bulk, LOL!)

No troll taken. In fact, I appreciate the heads up.

I do plan on cutting though. After this cycle I will be doing a slow and steady cut. I'm not really looking to become extremely shredded, but would like to drop to around 11-12% BF after this which I think will be manageable in a 5-6 months time. I'm all about slow and steady wins the race.

Deadlifts felt great today. I managed to push another rep PR today doing 315x9... I wanted 10 reps so badly, but after the 9th rep, I stood there and just didn't have it in me to attempt the lift so I called it rather than pushing too far. I really don't want to get injured. I'm happy with that though. Slow and steady wins the race.


I wanted to try do 5 sets of 10 reps on the Safety Squat Bar @ 185 lbs, but not being used to the bar and having no experience front squatting made it extremely heavy to me. I managed to only crank out 2 sets of 135 x 10 and the rest were 5s. I still have to get used to this bar. It's a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. The camber and the way it sits on your body makes it so that you have to stay much more up right than a traditional squat, especially since I'm used to low bar back squat.


Also.. Kinda mad when I pinned today. Not sure if the syringe was defective or if I pushed the plunger too hard, but after I pinned my left glute. I went to pull out the needle and noticed that some oil slipped past the plunger and spilled onto my hands. Not sure exactly how much as it happened so quickly and was behind me so the view wasn't easy to see. Hopefully I didn't lose too much oil and my hormones don't get too out of whack. Probably won't affect it too much, since I think only about 0.5 cc got out of the 3.3 cc. Still annoying and not sure what caused it.

I try to eat a little less on rest days since I dont really exert much energy. 250 calories here and there adds up so I figure it should be good. Weighed in at 212.5 LBS @ 15.5% BF. As far as metrics, the numbers are looking pretty good. Hopefully I'll be able to retain a lot of this mass and shed the fat after this cycle. Planning to do a slow cut a 6-8 weeks after PCT is over.

So I decided to up the var dosage a little bit since I had just enough tabs to do so, I don't like to have extras and would rather finish them out. As far as what everyone has told me, 65mg should be a pretty good dosage, even though most are recommending I do 100mg; I'd like to keep it at 65mg since I'm already doing a bunch of other drugs and would like to keep it as conservative as possible.


Today's pumps weren't as insane as last Thursday when initially did my first dose of var. That was a skin tearing, muscle bursting like I've never felt before, almost wanted to cry a little. Today was a good pump, but definitely no where near that. I did however manage to bust through a PR for bench with a solid 210 lbs x 8 reps. As of recently, I've been smashing through weight and rep PR's so it feels great. My next week is the big one of 225. Excited to see how many I am able to muster as that's been a very long time goal of mine since my tennis elbow injury.
