Re-Introduction:
This is a continuation of my previous "lean bulking" log. I am currently on Week 7, Day 47 of my bulking cycle. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I've had to cut that cycle short and switch AAS sources. Since this is an emergency, I only have what is available on hand... Unfortunately, I do not have the same exact compounds as I was blasting on hand since I planned to save these for my next cycle. I will be running slightly different compounds.


Those that have seen my previous logs will know that I am an extremely meticulous person and will log everything in detail. This is so that I can go back at a future date and trace back how I was feeling, what I was doing, and what I was eating to achieve or not achieve certain results. These logs are a tool for not only holding myself accountable, but a journal of how I can improve myself based on experiences I have been through. Sometimes our memory is not always the greatest so having things written down in detail is crucial. Another reason I do this is for complete transparency on what I am taking. We're all just random screen names on a forum with no faces, I have nothing to hide nor lie about. This is my raw experiences.


Goals:
I just have one damn goal! Let's get fucking JACKED. Is that too much to ask for?


In all seriousness, I am looking to lean bulk. I want to sustain a sub 15% BF range while gaining muscle which I think is fairly achievable given the right circumstances.
Will it be easy? Nope.
Will it be worth it? Damn right it will be!

FRI - Strength Deadlifts / Hypertrophy Squats

For those of you who aren't familiar it's a powerlifting style program with progressive overload and some form of auto-regulation.


For my programming, it will be 5/3/1, in addition to that I'm adding a 5x5 First Set Last to the day's main compound movement as well as doing a staggered compound movement 5x10 Boring But Bigger along with additional bodybuilding accessory / isolation work. More details of this programming in Jim's books. Essentially it will be a Power-building Strength / Hypertrophy hybrid style of training.

I'm not entirely keen with having to extend my cycle an extra week, but I feel like doing 9 weeks just to finish at 16 would leave some extra oil in my vials and I might as well finish it out.

The reason for this switch in compounds is because I just don't have much faith on the dosing of this EQ and will be switching to another source's DHB. Praying that it arrives quickly as I plan on pinning this new cycle next week.

So I tried a bunch of different things to lessen the side effects caused by GH. I recently scored a 388 IGF from just 2.5 iu's of these so I'm thinking I'm gonna reduce the dosage to 2.0 iu ED. The sides are hindering me from sleep and work, it's getting a bit annoying to say the least. Gonna see if dropping it will decrease the sides any. I keep myself well hydrated drinking 1-2 gallons of water daily.


Workout today was pretty brutal. My shoulders were taxed beyond belief and when it got to the hypertrophy bench press burnouts, I couldn't finish my sets. A little disappointing, but I kept pushing through. Today was quite a high volume training day so we'll see how I feel tomorrow.

Your running a good brand of gear now and it’s gunna be a blast to see what the difference is. It seems like on your last log you did everything right and were just lacking quality drugs. This GH tested out to be quite potent according to the IGF score that I got. Its definitely given me the most side effects of any brand Ive tried thus far. The issue thats affecting my sleep is the CTS and numbness. Sometimes ill have a very hard time falling asleep because my limbs are numb or Ill wake up because of it. Sucks..

I sometimes ask that question too. This HGH thing was an experiment. Im currently on my 5th kit. And have 2 kits left. After this, I will stop GH and get a baseline IGF and see what my natural production is.

Today was a Deadlift focus day. Was able to hit 315x6 with decent effort, was maybe an RPE-7. Definitely could have had 2 more, but I cut it off at 6.. It's a new deadlift rep PR for me. I haven't gone very heavy on the lifts before, in fact, I've been deadlifting for less than a year. Prior to this it was brosplits. Arm day, Leg day, Chest day, Shoulder day, etc etc. Was not a fan of that so I switched to a powerbuilding formula recommended by a coach a few months ago and have made some very awesome strength gains in a short amount of time.


Experimenting with lowering my GH dosage since the side effects were getting pretty brutal for me. I scored a relatively high IGF score on these kits so I figure a little lower shouldn't hurt. Hoping the sides lessen in a few days or so.


Other than that, I'm excited to start pinning this new cycle next week.

Haven't had a full on cheat day for a long time. Figured it was the best day to do it since I was pretty active today and I was a bit under on calories yesterday. Went out and balled out on some Sushi. Pictures below for your viewing pleasure. Great food and awesome time with friends. Really high quality sushi. Uni (sea urchin roe), Otoro (fatty tuna), and the Shrimp were the highlights of the meal. Definitely some good high quality sushi. Ended up costing quite a bit, but it was well worth it.


Tomorrow is the first pin of this new cycle, and I'm excited to start. Unfortunately, DHB won't arrive for a bit so it will have to will. I'll start with SUS and NPP for now. I'll just pin a little bit extra DHB later to make up for it.

So today is the first dose of the new cycle. Unfortunately my DHB isn't here yet so I decided to start with just Sus and NPP. Looking forward to seeing NPP kick in. I've heard great things about it and I'm hoping it'll also help with my joints.


Still getting some GH sides. Fingers are numb pretty frequently and it's a bit of a pain in the ass, but since dropping my dose to 2.0 iu, it's gotten ever so slightly better. Not much really. Something is better than nothing I guess.


I had to skip lunch today since I was busy working and could not get a meal in so I ended up cramming a whole bunch of food for my preworkout meal (labeled snack on log) and my dinner. Should be okay, it's not ideal, but it'll work.


Workout was a bit of a let down on my main sets. Top set felt extremely heavy for some reason and I wasn't able to AMRAP a few more. Was supposed to hit 190x8 but ended up doing only 190x6. It's okay though. I'll get back to it next week. Even though that main bench set was a bit hard... Everything else felt pretty smooth. My overhead press was surprisingly light, hammered through those fairly quickly and accessories got my pump going really good.

So I miscalculated the macros on my protein pancakes this morning and ended up eating twice the amount that I was supposed to therefore am a little over on calories. It's fine though. Today was squat day and I tend to exert a bit more energy on these days. Pushed through the workout and ended up getting 240x11 for an AMRAP set which was a new rep PR for me. It wasn't grind at all, but I could tell my form was starting to break down a bit.


Weighed in at 208 Lbs today so weight is staying fairly consistent. I'm happy with that. I don't want to get too fat on this bulk, I'd like to stay approximately the same composition while gaining some lean mass, which I think is entirely possible.


Trying to workout pullups again ever since my tennis elbow injury. I stopped doing pullups in the past because it really stressed out my elbow, but now that it's gotten a lot better, I figure I can ease into it slowly. I use a band for assistance and am only doing 5 reps at a time. Making sure my form is strict and no swinging or jerking.


Excited to try some DHB tomorrow....

Workout was really crazy today. My shoulders were on fire like never before. I really wanted 135x10 on my overhead press. I attempted twice after my 135x9 set, but couldn't get it. Ended up dropping the weight and just finishing out with standard 5x5s. Entire workout, my shoulders were lit and I could feel a really good pump going through them.


Getting some slight PIP from the pin yesterday in my right VG. It's a little tender and usually I'll never really get PIP in my VGs which is why I chose to pin this spot on the start of my DHB protocol to test the waters. Will report back tomorrow to see how the PIP is then.


Excited to pin another dose tomorrow. Can't wait til NPP and DHB kick in.

Pinned another dose of sus, dhb, and npp today into left VG this time. PIP on my right VG from the last pin is getting a little worse. It's sore, but definitely bearable. Glad I decided to use VG as an experimental ground. Hopefully I'll get used to it and it won't hurt as much later.


Deadlifts went pretty well, ended up doing a top set of 300x8. I attempted to do some 365x1 block pulls, but I failed all 3 times. My body was pretty fatigued and back was a little sore from the AMRAP set prior to it. It's okay. I gave it my best shot. I'll revisit that next week or so.


It's been about a week or so since I've lowered the dosage on my HGH from 2.5iu to 2.0iu, while sides have gotten a tiny bit better, it's not much better. Still have trigger finger in multiple fingers and both hands, hands go numb quite frequently and it's a little annoying. Really fatigued in the mornings. If I don't drink a cup of coffee in the morning, i could literally fall asleep standing up at work... It's happened twice LOL..

you should drop the gh for a while bro. Sounds like you causing yourself to become insulin resistant.

Yeah I've been debating this for the past few days. Was trying to finish my vial and then drop the GH for awhile. Luckily yesterday was the last dose on that vial so I will be stopping today.

So I've been thinking about discontinuing HGH for a few days now and since my vial has been used up, I have decided to drop it for now. The sides were just getting a bit too much for me and the fatigue was brutal... I think I need a break. Have been on for about 6 months, thought it was longer, but I guess not now that I look back into my logs. I think that was a pretty decent experiment for me.


Rest day today, not sure why but I was extremely tired today even though I didn't do much. Ended up taking a few naps throughout the day. Felt great though. I really don't get much sleep on the weekdays since I wake up so early for work. Weekends is where I pile on my sleep.


About 1 week into this new gear and feeling alright. I don't think anything has had the time to kick in just yet, so I'm still anxious to see what these compounds can do.

Pinned my right glute today, oil went it smooth and quickly. Praying for no PIP. So far I've done 2 pins with DHB and both have had PIP, which is especially weird because I pinned VG's for both and I rarely get PIP in VG. It doesn't hurt too bad, I've had much worse, especially virgin muscle, but it is a little uncomfortable. I'll stop being a baby now and deal with it.


So this is day 3 of discontinuing use of GH. I still have the sides in my fingers like numbness and locking up/trigger finger is several of my fingers. Somethings the locking up hurts a little, and takes quite a bit of force to open up. Does anyone know how long it takes for sides to subside once you stop?


As far as diet goes, I overate a little today. It should be fine since I'm trying to bulk, but I'm doing my best not too let it get too out of control... I ate a little more today since my bench has been stalling lately. I've been having a hard time pushing out reps past 5 at around this weight. I managed to get 200x6 on my own and a 7th with some spotting, but left that out since 6 was under my own strength.

So I noticed that there is very minor PIP starting on my right glute from my pin yesterday. Not enough to hurt yet, but ever so slightly to notice that it's there. The other pins prior don't hurt too bad, PIP has only lasted 1 or 2 days so far and it's fairly mild. I guess DHB is really susceptible to PIP, but then again this DHB is brewed at 150mg/ml so that kind of makes sense too. Hopefully the PIP will be worth it, I've heard great things about DHB and am looking forward to the gains.


I ended up overeating slightly, exactly the same as yesterday. Again, I don't mind because I'm trying to bulk, but also since this is a leg day, I generally exert more energy in the workout so it should be okay. After my squat sets, I did a few block pulls, Tried to do 365 again, but still no dice. My back was just too exhausted. Ended with a few back accessories.

So I forgot to log yesterday. Got caught up with a few things and it slipped my mind. It was a rest day and pin day, I pinned left glute, that's about it.


So I had to cut my workouts a little shorter than usual today since I had some friends that are new to lifting and they asked me to show them the ropes. They've helped with something else before so I felt it was the right thing to do to show them the ropes and help them with proper form for their first times. Kind of baffles me that some people have never worked out before in their lives, but better late than never!


Workout went okay, but it took awhile since I had to stop and pause a lot to give pointers and show them through it with demonstration. Managed to do a OHP of 145x8 which is a rep PR for me. I wanted to do 9 or 10 reps, but I think the long breaks and pauses got to me and my form was a bit off. It's okay. 145 felt pretty easy.


I've been weighing in at 206lbs lately which is about 1-2 lbs lighter than a few weeks ago. I can see the DHB starting to kick in and I see myself getting more full and much more vascular which is kinda crazy. I have relatively medium to high bodyfat (~15% BF) so my veins don't usually show through much, but being on DHB has made them pop a bit. After seeing the slight loss in weight, I've decided to up calories a tiny bit. I'm definitely leaning out and getting bigger. The changes are almost daily. Can't wait to see DHB and NPP fully shine

Pinned both my delts today. Split the oils into 2 pins, about 1.65mls each. I love this weird taste that you get from DHB.


Workout went a little subpar than what I had expected. My top set of deadlifts was supposed to be 320x6, but I only managed to hit 3 on the first try. I attempted again and hit 4, and the last time was only able to do 1 before feeling my core collapse so I decided to stop it there. Just a lot of fatigue. I guess I have to realize that strength isn't linear.


The rest of the workout was pretty good. Got a decent back pump going then hit some abs.

My delts hurt like a mofo right now since pinning both delts yesterday. PIP is insane. I'm gonna stick to pinning VG and Glutes with DHB. I hardly feel any pain at all in those spots. I had to pin delts since I was running out of places. I will never pin quads and right now I only have 6 locations. Left + Right VG, Left + Right Glute, Left + Right Delt. I've tried Tris once and didnt like it much.
