    How to go about bloodwork

Hey fellas. Just coming back from shoulder surgery and new to the blood work thing after a cycle of monster test enan 500mg weekly. I was wondering what the process is when ending a cycle to get blood work done. I understand this could be a little broad and understand to some it's a stupid question(s).

What type of doctor to see?

What to look for in blood work?

What questions to ask the doc and what not to ask?

Thanks in advance any info would be much appreciated

Go to Labsmd.com and order the female hormone Panel that's $73.

Print it and take it to your nearest quest labs and wait for results

If you're doing bloods at the end of a cycle, you'll just look at liver, blood, test and estrogen values.

If you're doing it at the end of pct, fsh, lh and the above as well

Certain states wonít let you do the mail in blood test...youíd have to go to your local phlebotomists and order a comprehensive metabolic panel and ask to include the other tests. Itís a hassle and I feel like insurance companies will try to drop you if it comes back all crazy like your in juice and I get sketched out.

schedule an appointment with an endocrinologist, perhaps?

Labsmd > quest labs might work

For about the same price, you can see a dr. For a basic physical and get a full BCP, with enzymes, lipids and test panels. Itís not that difficult, just not as convenient, in any state. All you lose is discretion.

Dont go to an endocrinologist, unless you need one. Insurance companies donít care much about minor elevations or high elevations without a hx or dx with some type of ailment, particularly if itís due to self administered Testosterone.

Again, all you lose is your discretion. I tell my Dr. everything so he can actually make accurate assessments about me (elevated crit, lfts and bp) and know itís the Test versus something that requires real treatment. Trust me, my insurance company has those records for the insurance that Iím required to carry for my company.

You lose some privacy, not a big deal. For me that is. To each is own.

I just get nervous. My coverage is expensive, and I donít need it to get more expensive or dropped. I know they say doctor confidentiality but I donít buy it man. Not here with certain healthcare providers...itís sketchy.

I was thinking about going to a non local provider that is covered by my insurance tho.
Thanks for the advice tho, this has been something Iíve needed to get on.

I respect your opinion, but it doesnít work that way. In my former life, I was the Director of Underwriting for one of the largest carriers in the US.

I have signed off on policies for NFL players on PEDs
Famous recording artists with drug addictions
    People with HIV

People self dosing Testosterone donít come on our radar and based on labs are so easy to identify. We store your blood chemistry profile for 5-7 days, so when we see elevations we can order more tests specific to your elevations. Then we are like, oh he is taking Testosterone. Itís the elevations we ďcanítĒ figure out that are a concern. A 2-3 mill policy and this is nothing, above 10 mill and it may warrant different handling.

    Thanks ...

so your saying I should find a doctor...order female hormone panel...tell said do tor the truth about my Ďillicití drug use and all will be ok?

they gave me such a hard time when dealing with an endo appointment that they cancelled on me cuz my blood draw was 10am and not 8am because according to them at 8 am testosterone levels are lowest and they want to make sure they get the lowest reading even tho my levels came back at 27 ng/dL ...not even making that up, thatís what they said to me...I yelled at them told them there liars and they suck at life and they can fucking blow me...2 hour difference my ass and what if I worked overnights, 8 am wouldnít be my morning. These guys are fucking quacks and I canít go back there.

Iím not trying to be a dick towards you man. Just so you know. I just waited for that appointment for 4 months and they cancelled 2 days prior to reschedule another month down the road after I re tested...it left a bad taste in my mouth and I felt like they were setting me up or something strange like that

Also be sure if your running high test get an uncapped test or your results will come back at either 1,500 or 3,000 depending on the lab. If you estimate your test should be higher go with the uncapped version.

This is really good stuff guys. You even gave me the trial and error which is very insightful. I am gonna try going through an endo. Gonna try and be as honest as I can.
