Hey folks just wanted to say Hi!
As the title of the post says I m trying to get back sitting tall in the gym saddle. I was a member a ways back and have read posts on this board for years. I was also on datbtrue for a long time. I ve been fighting injuries for a long time now. Both tricept tendons are calcified at the elbow insertion both shoulder labrums have tears, itb syndrome that just won't quit and most recently a meniscus tear. I was super active all my life. Soccer, martial arts, road and mountain biking and of course pushing iron. My job wrenching cars for years has taken its toll but now I push a desk 10 hours a day. I ve done some AAS and now I m on trt in my 50s. I tried hgh which was the worst experience of my life since I m one of those rare people whose heart decides to go crazy and spent a night in the hospital which was not a lot of fun.
So I m in my 50s and finally got most of my injuries in control. My ego has learned what I can and can't do most importantly. So at this point I m trying to loose a little more blubber and be able to look in the mirror and see some of that muscle that is still hiding underneath. Mentally wrapping my head around the fact this aging machine even though willing and a lot of times able to do what I want it too comes with a greater cost than it used to. I m looking forward to getting that gym body back and hopefully learning so new things after being away for a while.
Looking forward to new friends and being back on the board.
Rick
