so i have done a little of my own research on this but really wanted to ask you guys here for some best tips and what you think i can do about it. ok i live in a really small town but thankfullly it has a fairly decently equipped gym that i go to. last month they let all members know they are moving to a bigger city. they really were lacking in membership there were plenty of days I would be the only one in the gym not even a staff member would be there and at most there might be between 1 - 5 people there besides me. the place that they are moving to is a hour drive away and I could make the drive but I look after a elderly and handicap relative so I cannot be that far away incase of a emergency or something. a 2 hour drive there and back plus the 2 - 3 hours I would be there lifting weights is just too much time away and if I needed to get back for a emergency the hour drive is too much. I do work a part time job but it is only a 10 minute drive from where I live so I can get back in a hurry.
the reason I explained all this is to let everyone know I can not just go to the gym under any circumstance. so the plan is I got rid of my bed and will sleep on the couch in the living room. I am putting in a weight bench with a bench press and leg extension and curler on it. I also have plenty of bars, weights and dumbells about 1300 dollars worth with it in my room. also I can run through my neighborhood for cardio. can I continue my intense training I got at the gym at home with what I got and can I get that great workout you need to justify gear usage? if anyone knows any great exercise recommendations I can do with free weights and any tips to help me get the best out of my workout and make the most out of what I have. sorry for the rant but I could use some help. I have been really trying to look up as many different free weight exercises as I can but I wanted to hear from fellow gear users who might be able to help out. thanks everyone
