Naw man, not yet. Starting the Tren tomorrow. I'm still here. Got broken up with a few days ago, now I am on the rebound. Seriously thinking about smashing this chick at work.
 
I wish I could talk to some of these young cats and show them if I can come from basically homeless and a 9th grade drop out to owning 2 very successful businesses , well maybe they can !!!! However you need more than hard work , u need to have something extra , have to be a hustler , people need to believe you and feel comfortable .. I have managers now , but i used to have to sell every customer why they should trust me to repair there car .... Anyways like l said earlier , there is a major need for body men and painters , one of my heavy frame guys makes over $100k , just food for thought if guys are lost and are not sure what to do ... I started at a body shop way back when cleaning cars and throwing out trash or whatever was needed , but i told the owner i really want to learn and be a body man ... So I watched and learned and asked the older guys to show me , and after just ONE year I was a body tech working on commission making $60k a year back in 1995 ..

Yes WELL said , and I hate sounding like the old guy , but I just don't see that anymore ???????? I go through a lot of porters ( younger guys to clean the cars ) and they just walk around like fucking zombies and just don't give a fuck ... Not one has ever asked me if I can show them how to paint or do bodywork , it is strange because I would just soak up everything I could , I couldn't wait to go in the next day if the boss threw me a shitty rust job to work on ... Oh well I am babbling now , anyways maybe kids are getting too soft , because it is a hard job .. IDK

It is a different mindset these days, nothing like it used to be.

You want to get somewhere in life you have to work hard and apply yourself.

Now a days these kids do not want to put themselves out there, take a risk or work extra hard to achieve higher goals.

Now they just do the minimum amount of work then piss and moan how they are getting nowhere.

well we come from the days before the internet . I made my first million before i was 25 . sure it wasn't Legal and i lost it trying to double my money , but i still had Ambition even if it was to get rich quick lol
anyway after some hard lessons learned I realized there were no short cuts in life so now i do it the Legal way and have for a long time now.
thats why sometimes i sound like im preaching but i wish i had someone back then slapping my face to wake me the fuck up and Plan for the future

Ha ha , real talk .... Well at least you avoided prison for the most part .... I was crazy as cat piss back then , and one of my friends HABIB was a coke dealer and ended up in Jackson prison for YEARS ... he has been out for a long time now and has a beautiful family , huge house , BMW , Porsche , Vette , private school for kids , horses , etc !!!!
