I'm making some oral liquids and wonder why one vs. the other.
I had some stuff from Advanced Stealth years ago that was clear and tasted like PG. I reordered a year later and it was now in solution with some some very nasty tasting solvent. Still have it because it is almost too nasty to stomach.

I am planning on going the suspension route using Ora-Plus. The downside being this stuff is expensive.
I'm guessing that other solvents and carriers would be much cheaper going the solution route?

A terrible tasting product is an issue for me.

Why use one over the other?

Most of my knowledge stems from injectables..but I've had my fair share of experiences with making orals.. solutions and suspensions.

Here is my understanding. If someone with further knowledge wants to chime in and kick my ass by all means go for it. This is my real life experiences..

Solution: powder that has been melted and dissolved onto an evenly distributed oil. No shaking required

Suspension: raw powder in an oil that "suspends" the powder. Your dose is accurate once thoroughly shaken.

Ok.. here is the downside to solutions. You have to use PEG 300 which tastes like sugar and cough syrup. PEG 400 500 and 600 are just "thicker" versions of peg 300. You will also be limited to how much you can dissolve (just like injectables) inside of a mL.

With suspensions you can dose it however you like.. but you will need to find a suitable carrier oil that's thick enough to keep it suspended while dosing. Think of a snow globe. If the liquid in it was water.. gravity would instantly make the snow (powder) sink to the bottom after shaking. The thicker the carrier oil.. the long it will stay in suspension. But if you get it too thick (Glycerin) it will be too thick and will clump up ect ect. And blending peg and Glycerin is an absolute nightmare.

You're best bet is to use Oraplus as a suspension vehicle and avoid PEG all together if you're concerned about taste. Oraplus is expensive but worth it. I have some great connects with Oraplus.. I will private message you about it.

You can dose your product at an mg/mL you want plus you will have a great tasting product after flavoring it as oraplus has no taste. The only downside is shaking it.

Doesn't glycerin blend well with ethyl alcohol? That would help it stay in suspension, thisn it somewhat, and keep the bacteria down if stored for longer periods

I won't bullshit. I've never blended it with ethyl alcohol. But he is after great taste. I don't know if that would be enjoyable. Plus you would be limited on how much compound you could dissolve inside a mL.... you could make a suspension with it too.. but oraplus would be the best option for that.

Completely missed that part. I know Jrotten does oral solutions in straight everclear, so I'd imagine, through my rusty chemistry knowledge that mixing a small amount of ethanol with your glycerine would help your suspension hold better and thin it enough to actually use it. I'm going to order some oral raws here in the near future so I'll give it a shot. You could probably give it a couple squirts of something like propel to make it taste better too. I figure I can always thin it more if I need to.

Glycerin is completely soluble in ethanol as well, so there shouldn't be any issues with blending them together. It should work good for thinning and holding at least part of the raw in solution. This may give a good recipe for a partial suspension, which obviously would be more evenly dosed than a pure suspension.

Guess we're gonna have to try it when I can

THanks tone!

Im going to play around with ora plus, trying different dilutants as well as coloring/flavoring. If I can stretch out the ora plus but still maintain its properties, that should mitigate the cost somewhat.

I always use 50% oraplus and 50% water and it's worst great. Cialis exemestane adrol dbol var proviron.... all work great..no alcohol by choice.
