Hey if you can't tell by the title am new around here ( and to the body building world in general) I am a 21 year old college student who lives in Massachusetts. I've been following a regular work out regimen for at least 6 months now and even went as far as getting a trainer recently but yet I can't say I have any noticeable results to show for it hence the reason am here looking for an alternative. I would really appreciate any help/advice or guidance that anyone wouldn't mind sparing and I hope in time to be a conducive part this community.

Welcome to the forum!

Eat, Eat, Eat.

I graduated high school at 120lbs.. hit college and threw on 25lbs my first year, 15 the second. I didn't know what the fuck I was doing in nutrition or the weight room, but I shot for progression of weight, and eating a shit load of carbs. The information you need being in your first 6 months can most likely be found on some of the other, non-aas forums. If your trainer is not showing results, especially in the first year of lifting, then you need a new trainer.... not gear.

I couldn't agree more. Talk to your trainer about your goals and eat a shit ton of food. Plus dude, you've got age on your side.

Its going to be a reoccuring theme to hear the words eat and food. For good reason. Most of ur progress will be made in the kitchen. Also your young. Enjoy the naturally higher levels while u got em. In the meantime welcome to asf and look around. Plenty of good guys with tons of knowledge.

Everyone has given you good advice here so far. Your still young, see what you can do naturally 1st an remember, it can take years and you will ALWAYS be a work in progress :) Also, calling yourself a babe in the woods while using that screen name seems rather counter-productive, own it :winkfinger:

If you work out for 6 months and havent made any gains your doing something wrong. Your test levels should be peak at this time in your life unless you have low T. That means either training or diet or both are off. Keep a log of both macros and training. Gear isnt a miracle cure for those things, you still have to put work in. Just my opinion

Welcome.... the male endocrine system matures at about the age of 25. Using aas prior to maturation can possibly screw you up for life. Wait a few years before taking the plunge.

Welcome man. Do you have a schedule as far as what is in your meals and how much a day? I dont weigh my food but I can eyeball about how much p/c/f are in a meal.

It’s been brought to my attention that as a board rep I should not ignore the new members section.

First thing is fire your trainer. Second thing is find someone further advanced than you in the gym and befriend them for advice. Workout partner that's more dedicated helps also. Your diet is 90% of your gains. You can't out work a bad diet even with gear. Welcome.
