Get Shredded!
228lbs this AM. Attempted to carb up on my last 2 meals yesterday in preparation for leg day today. My cheat meal ended up being grilled chicken pasta with mushrooms in a parmesan cream sauce. Then I came home and demolished a few brownies and washed it down with a big glass of whole milk. We'll see if that pays off today.

Sounds good man, go show those legs whos boss Brother.

Good leg day today. Made some progress over last week.

Hoist leg extensions - warm up
4x15 w/50lbs

Barbell Squat
135lbs x 12
225lbs x 12
275lbs x 10
315lbs x 9
385lbs x 6 (+1)
*Good leg drive out of the hole. Getting a lot of knee wobble at the top after each rep. Just gonna take some time to get acclimated to the heavier weight.

LifeFitness Leg Press
823lbs x 12
913lbs x 10
1003lbs x 8
1183lbs x 8 (+2)

Legend Fitness hack squat - V stance
225lbs x 12 (+2)
315lbs x 10
365lbs x 6 (-1)
365lbs x 6
*Was difficult making progress on these this week as I did them second in my line up last week and third this week so I was pretty spent by the time I got to them.

FreeMotion Squat - Sumo Squat
260lbs x 12 (+20lbs)
280lbs x 12 (+20lbs)
300lbs x 12 (+20lbs)

Those numbers look lije they're improving pretty well!

Keeping a logbook is SUCH a great tool and for everything you just posted. You're tracking progess and, on top of that, you're able to pick out differences in training order so you can nail down explanations in why things change.

Great work man.

Leg training started out frustrating today as the leg extension machine and all squat racks were in use so I had to deviate from my plan, which I never like doing. In spite of being all out of whack I had a great session with a lot of weight moved today.

228.8lbs this AM. I decided to begin training all muscle groups this week. The last 8-10 weeks I have only been training chest, back, and upper legs because I wanted to ease back into this and not commit to too many days at the gym to allow myself additional time to focus on other things, but now I'm feeling it's time to step it up. I'm going back to my previous split which was as follows.

Back
Glutes/Hams/calves
Arms
Shoulders/calves
Quads
Chest

Rest days will be worked in as needed.

Hopefully I'm not biting off more than I'm willing to chew. With spring right around the corner there's going to be a lot more outside maintenance of my property. I've been doing a lot of grading work trying to get the yard in order and ready for grass seed, and I'm going to try to get the landscaping done over the next few weekends (plants, shrubs, trees). Once that's done it will just be routine maintenance. I do have 15 acres so there will be a lot of grass cutting, but I'll only be cutting a few acres of it weekly. The pasture will be bush-hogged once a month or so.

What is your quad circumference now?

What sort of gear are you on? I ask because I know you were determined to focus a little more on health, now.

27.25" (just measured)

Right now I'm on 300mg/wk of sustanon, 600mg/wk of nandrolone. I just started MK677 a few weeks ago as well. More focus on body composition now than just sheer size. I mean, don't get me wrong, I still want to look like a freak, but I'm not going to do it at the expense of adding a bunch of fat like I did before. Right now I'm very happy with how my re-comp is going. My weight has stayed pretty consistent in spite of losing over 2" from my waistline so far. Will continue this until I am happy with where I am at, then slowly start reintroducing more carbs into my diet and transition into a clean bulk. I'd really like to land somewhere in the 240lbs sub 10% bf neighborhood if possible.

Whoa! What?? Hmmmm . . . That is about the same as mine, and I look like a scarecrow :wits:

Can four inches in height really make that much of a difference in the way one appears? Damn. What size would my quads have to be even to come close to looking like yours? 36? LOL! Wow, that is amazing.

I swear I thought you were going to say 30 or more. Your quads look huge.

I know mine are larger than a regular man's, because they fit tightly in the leg of jeans with a 36 waist, but if I pop a photo of them, they look like they belong on a stick figure. I am usually too embarrassed to post photos. EDIT - See post #50 from my Fattie to Abs Before 50 log http://www.anabolicsteroidforums.com/showthread.php/72339-From-Fattie-to-Abs-Before-50/page4 showing last November

wonder what mine would be if I was shorter lol. Keep kicking ass TV!

My massage therapist just canceled on me for the second time. Said she has to cut back on her schedule due to an elbow injury flare-up. She wants to refer me to someone else. WTF?!?!?! Apparently she just can't handle me. So much for that...

Techno gym.... Does it have flashing lights on it?

Right! Never heard of it until I saw it at my local Gold's. They have a TechnoGym chest press, lat pulldown, and leg press. The leg press is very similar to the Cybex squat press machine, which is one of my favorite leg machines. It's in one of my videos in the previous pages...

This little gem was delivered yesterday. My garage refrigerator decided to take a shit on me. I ended up losing over $200 in meat that was in it. Replaced it with a 13.8cuft upright freezer. Love it! Going to be filling it up this weekend after a trip to Costco.

Yeah man. It killed me to throw all the meat out, but I had no idea how long it had been sitting in there so I didn't want to take the chance. Good thing I had the beef tenderloins in the freezer inside the house...:winkfinger:

The stand up freezer was $597 at Home Depot. I could have gotten one cheaper, but I wanted stainless steel to match my garage cabinets.

Thank you, brother. Actually, I'm just coming back from a 5 month layoff. Took some time off to renovate my new house, but the bug has bitten me once again and I've been back training for about 10 weeks now. I love this lifestyle. It's what I was meant to do. I couldn't imagine life without weight training.

Nice Freezer! wish I had the room for one myself.
