IML Gear Cream!
Ever try bent over dumb bell flies or one of those machines for rear delts? I ask because I have a lot of problems feeling face pulls in my rear delts unless I use ridiculously light weight, very high reps, and go super slow.

I have. Occasionally I'll throw in some rear delt flyes, but my preferred movement for rear delts is face pulls. I find a decreased range of motion helps isolate the rear delts. Don't go too far forward, keep a bend in the arms, or else the biceps will become involved, and don't go too far back or else the rhomboids and lower traps will become involved. My range of motion is pretty short, but very concentrated.

To be honest, now that I've been presented with this HGH from Ironlion and have insulin on order to run alongside it, my focus over the next several weeks will be packing on as much muscle as possible. After that, if I have time to squeeze a contest prep in then I'll consider it. I don't want to miss out on this opportunity to try HGH and insulin together. There will be other shows.

Diet has been very consistent with primarily meats and green vegetables throughout the day with a 24 hour carb load period once a week. Also taking 10g creatine/10g EAAs (Adamantium Aminos by Granite Supplements) intra-workout.

No, I added complex carbs about 5 weeks ago due to no progress in the gym. I am now seeing progress in the gym, however, the scale still isn't moving. I have been eating 4 meals per day so it looks like I'm going to need to add a 5th meal to the program. I've been keeping things very clean with my primary carb sources just being rice, oats, and potatoes.
 
Still holding at 230lbs first thing in the morning. Taking Thursday and Friday off training this week to rest. Friday is my deep tissue massage day so def no training today. Have been having issues with an active trigger point between my trap and scapula on the right side for the past few days. Shooting referred pain up my neck, into my front deltoid, and around my clavicle. Fucking brutal. Hopefully my massage therapist can give me some relief this afternoon.

Still behind a bit on logging my training sessions. Have been dealing with a sick dog for the past few weeks and have been taking him to specialists to try to get it figured out. $3000 invested in testing and still no confirmed diagnosis yet.

I have that exact same problem with that point between my trap and scapula on my left side. After tons of massage and physical therapy it's never went away. These days I use the techniques out of Kelley Starret's book "Becoming a Supple Leopard" and it helps tremendously

Upper inside corner of scapula, pretty much right where the trapezius hangs a 90 degree turn down the back. I've been having issues with trigger points for years also. Sometimes they go away and don't bother me for months then all of a sudden I'm in agony for days. Feels like someone is sticking a hot poker in my back. Totally screwed up my chest training the other night because I was in so much pain. I'll look into the book you mentioned. Thank you.

Yep, exactly the same as mine. Be gone for months, then bam! Can't hardly lift my arm without bad pain. Ends up giving me a tension headache.

Hope that helps you out. Lots of good rehab stuff in there. It was actually Skip on here that brought it up to me

Today is day #9 of Puretropin @ 5ius/day. Yesterday I started to notice some swelling in my hands and muscles are definitely feeling fuller with a more noticeable pump during training. One of my buddies at the gym approached me last night and said my muscles appeared to have more "pop". That was good to hear. My weight is still staying the same @ 230lbs first thing in the AM.

Trying to get back on track with my log after losing my dog last Friday. Been sad times at the TouaregV8 household over the last several days...

Weighed in at 234lbs this AM. Finally starting to see my weight increase after adding a 5th meal to the daily menu. There's always a fine line between adding muscle and adding fat. I'm trying to keep things as clean as possible, but still incorporating a few cheat meals throughout the week.

After 2 solid weeks on the Puretropin I'm still only seeing swelling in my hands. Holding a pen actually causes pain. I'm definitely feeling fuller in the gym and noticed some significant back pumps during rack pulls the other night. I think I may be starting to see some lethargy creeping in, but it's had to say just yet as I've been down in the dumps since the loss of my dog. Everything else has been business as usual. I'm still at 500mg/wk of test and 800mg/wk of mast E, and taking 30mcg of T3 daily.

More good news, my slin just cleared customs and is coming down the home stretch. Guess I better get my intra-shake ingredients ordered...I usually use Glycofuse for my carb source. Do you have any other suggestions, Monte? Preferably flavorless?

Flavorless intra will be impossible if you're planning on using HBCD and EAA'S.

I would suggest HBCD strawberry sorbet from true nutrition and their EAA'S or PeptoPro if you have the money for it. Those EAA'S can come flavored now and I would suggest getting that since eaa's and di/tri peptides like PeptoPro are horribly bitter.

Do you have the protocol laid out? Hopefully adjusting insulin to the carbs you need and not the other way around.

Yeah it looks like I'm going to end up with a raspberry-chocolate intra-shake, which actually doesn't sound too bad depending on how accurate the flavor of the EAAs are. I have hydrolyzed protein (chocolate) on order from True Nutrition, and I decided to try EAAs from ATP Labs (raspberry). Those have already been ordered also, however, they are taking forever to get here from Canada. I figured I'd also get the unflavored Glycofuse.

The last time I ran slin I played it VERY conservative. I took 10g of carbs for every iu of slin. This time around I think I'm going to shoot for 6-8g of carbs for every iu of slin. Please feel free to comment on this if you have any suggestions. I am not an insulin guru by no means and feel I really missed the boat the last time I ran it by being too conservative on my dose.

I would adjust the slin to your typical post/pre intra carb intake but, if it's over 100g, still start at 10iu.

Pm me and we'll talk about it more. Slin isn't something I get into on the forum about in fear of someone trying to use what I say and possible repercussions.

235lbs right out of the rack this morning. After working outside in the heat and humidity for an hour this morning, 2 meals and 75oz of fluid later I'm 233lbs currently from all the fucking sweating...

I incorporated 30 minutes of fasted LISS cardio first thing in the AM on Monday to help with my cardiovascular conditioning as my bodyweight increases. I'll be doing this M/W/F.

Compounds are still as follows:
500mg/wk Test E (going to bump this to 800mg/wk starting tomorrow)
800mg/wk Mast E
5ius/day HGH

I received my insulin on Monday, all I'm waiting for now is my Glycofuse delivery (tomorrow) and I'll be ready to start. I'm going to start at 8ius pre-workout for the first few days then bump it up to 10ius. Will work my way up to 13ius/day pre-workout. A big thanks to Monte and Tren for your feedback on this.

I switched to ATP Labs EAAs (raspberry) which took almost 4 weeks to receive from Canada. It tastes like shit. I should have stayed with Granite Supplements EAAs but I wanted to try something else. Now I have a whole container that I need to choke down...Good thing I'll be mixing these with chocolate hydrolyzed whey once I start my insulin.

I run 10-12ius novolin R preworkout on training days and require about 50g carbs min. It's very very obvious to me if I'm going hypo, drink a couple oz of mango juice with BCAAs and the feeling is gone in about 1min. I keep 8oz mango juice in the gym bag, rarely do I need to drink it all, depends on how many carbs I take in for my preworkout meal. Usually drink about 4oz(20g carbs)intra then have the rest in my post workout shake.

The first day of insulin is in the books. All went well and the pump in the gym was painful. I keep chocolate in my gym bag just in case.

Intra-workout shake
50g protein - hydrolyzed whey

Drank 1/3 of the shake right after pin even though I really didn't have to based on the timing of my pre-workout meal.

Drank the rest of the intra-workout shake 1 hour after pin.
