I'm 44 and still have natural levels at 900!!! and 100-100+++ Free! The problem is my E2 keeps creeping up! AND When I was younger I was much higher than 900... I am going to start cycling really soon to be optimal for me!!!
Crap!!! @ 44 those are your test levels? I started @ 40y/o test was 249. classic symptoms, doc started antidepressants first for the fatigue, apathy, lack of interest in anything I found enjoyable in the past... I knew it was low test levels, many cycles, significant stressors @ the time, but let the doc drive the discussion for the first few visits then brought up the possibility of low testosterone and having it checked.. After that the door was open. He was like "oh, you do have low testosterone levels, hmmm what would you like to do?"
Granted @ 900 you are saying you are symptomatic, have you had any additional lab testing, you mentioned elevated E2, anything else? How overweight are you? Losing weight will help with aromitase. and help control E2 levels... Do you get adequate sleep, have insomnia, or sleep disturbances(snoring, apnea)..all can contribute to lower test levels and lead to ED symptoms... Is you only complaint your ED issues or are you experiencing other symptoms as well?
If you start AAS now then you will have a whole lot more to consider... a well thought out and planed PCT is a whole lot more important for a 44 year old.. Then TRT has its own set of issues.. test injections or gels, hcg inj, AI's, frequent lab work....and a full recovery to your pre-cycle levels of 900.... not very likely... once you start you can't go back, and you are 44 after all so a drop in levels is normal, Its not like it went in the toilet and down to 100-200 or something..
Controlling E2 seems to be your issue if ED is your only concern.. What did you try for E2 control, AI's, one or several? Have you tried anything like DIM, I3C? .. Is your "kings" diet contributing to elevated cholesterol levels?... Cardio cardio, maybe Hgh, drop your BF down,
If you haven't yet get yourself a PDE5 inhibitor... try a few out see which ones work for ya.. Consider adding a low dose alpha-andranergic agonist like Doxazosin if those don't work to well on their own.
I wanted TRT because I was and will continue AAS and the thought of having a Dr. on board writing my prescriptions, ordering lab work made it alot easier... Then again he doesn't know much about what he is doing, but that's where being proactive with your health/wellness and having as much information as you can comes in....
