Seriously guys. What the actual fuck? How many times does a source need to fuck up and send a mass email before other sources figure out that NOBODY enjoys getting linked into a mass email and having a bunch of random ass strangers aware of their info...


First a source crying about how they got scammed on meso sending a mass email..

Then what? Feral (to which he owned up). Now Dutch?

Maybe they undelete the emails to send em all CC'ed like that then re-delete, so security is still tight af. Customers are on the honor system to not report each other to LE so just be honorable.

But OPEC is OPEC and when you have idiots who hit reply all to those mass emails, or you have idiots with yahoo/gmail/whatever-the-fuck-unsecure-email who knows that stupid shit they'll do that will just lead LE down a rabbit hole...


Not to mention extra emails on top of Alliance spamming me every day with "how do our prices look are you ready to buy from us even though you told us no and to stop emailing"...

Big funny joke I made. Hence all the laughing, lol. I'm an IT guy, being sarcastic.

If people are being emailed, the emails weren't deleted... clear as day. If anything is undeleted then it wasn't really deleted to begin with, even if that data is buried in backups on tape or in a cloud somewhere. If a sponsor is CC'ing everyone then he's tech-clueless and needs serious assistance. The "honor system" was a joke -- an occasional customer could very well be LE so any data leakage just puts everyone else at risk. But in the end, we customers are mostly safe by being small fish. Cyber privacy and security are mostly a joke these days. Even security companies are getting hacked, and even tech behemoths with 100's of billions to throw around like Google. Grim situation. Most of this is obvious but not everyone keeps up with tech security issues and most don't fully understand it in any case.
 
After you order with us The Queen will send you a confirmation and also ask to email her when your goods arrive. Once you do that your info is deleted. No need to send out mass emails that's what the board is for.
 
Should someone get pinched, keeping customer contact info only helps build a stronger case against the person keeping the info.

But it seems like its every other month I get linked into some mass email and then some random person replies to everyone.

And considering how much flack animal got less than 2 weeks ago...to have another lab follow up and do the same shit is just flat out stupid.

Hey gents!

I want to personally apologize because I am the one who sent out a mass email, not Dutch. I had to send out an email to let everyone know about stock updates so I CC'ed all the customers from here. It didn't contain any personal information, but still was not a wise move on my part. I do apologize. My logic at the moment was, "Hey, they all are known forum members and have proven to not be LE, and if I email each person individually, it will take me 2-3 hours." Again, it is my fault entirely and I won't do anything like that again. I'll just make a forum post and hopefully everyone reads it!

This is what I like about Star. The guy will own up to his mistake. Funny thing, he email me the other night at 3 in the morning his time because he was worried about a customer unsatisfied because tracking showed his order arrive but he couldn't find it. Star talked the customer through it and the guy found it! He was losing sleep because someone else was worried. Good guy.

I haven't had an issue w cash app except initially they made me submit my license for BTC, then they immediately rejected me.

Lol.

I resubmitted and it went through.

I don't trust them for BTC personally, but that's just me.

The app itself has been A+ for years.
