Hello everyone! Is it safe to keep goods in the sterile media bottle for a few days after its filtered and capped? Or does anyone know of a way to transfer goods from the bottle to vials? I mean should I pour contents from the media bottle into a sterilized beaker and draw with clean pin and fill vials? Thanks for the input everyone I appreciate it.

definently do not open the media bottle after it has been sterilized, use a silicone septa (after you wipe it with alcohol): http://www.medical-and-lab-supplies.com/lab-glassware/media-bottles/caps/45-mm-silcone-septa.html
and an open top cap: http://www.medical-and-lab-supplies.com/lab-glassware/media-bottles/caps/45-mm-open-top-cap.html

attach these to the media bottle then you draw up the solution like one giant ass vial with your large syringe (the bottle should not leak when inverted if it is the correct size), then you transfer it into your vials with a rubber stopper on them already to minimize dust/ contamination
hope this helps and wasnt too late to post it :)
