Stenbolone has not been manufactured since the late 1980's. How ever, we still would like to discuss it in a few sentences since Stenbolone was such a popular steroid, with many potential customers even today Stenbolone was introduced on the market in 1963 by Syntex, the that produced the popular steroids Anadrol, Oxitosona (o.c.), and Anapolon. It is therefore not surprising that Stenbolone has an application similar to the other three compounds. Syntex developed Stenbolone as a mild alternative to the toxic same company Anadrol. And the company was successful because Stenbolone is neither liver-toxic nor does it aromatize, and it is only slightly an-drogenic. In addition, it has a similar effect to Anadrol in cases of anemia with abnormal blood formation since it increases the num-ber of red blood cells. For this reason Stenbolone is especially suit-able for competing athletes since it accelerates regeneration when dieting. Competing body builders in the weeks before a champi-onship often experience a catabolic phase and a condition of over training. Stenbolone rapidly and reliably counters this and helps to obtain a good form since it does not draw water and does not increase the estrogen level. For the buildup of strength and mass, however, Stenbolone is by far not as suitable as Anadrol, although some erroneously call it an injectable Anadrol. Stenbolone has lower anabolic and androgenic effects than the oral version and it leads to a slow but solid muscle gain along with a moderate strength gain. For this purpose it is preferred by women and ste-roid novices, and by older athletes who obtain satisfying results without the fear of significant side effects. Despite this, Stenbolone is, above all, I a competition steroid which is confirmed by the American "Steroid Guru" Daniel Duchaine in his book Underground Steroid Handbook 2: "This is an excellent steroid to use while diet-ing..."

Since the substance is in acetate form it has only a low half-life time so that frequent and regular injections are necessary in order to ob-tain sufficiently high and constant blood level values. For optimal results Stenbolone is normally taken daily and injected at least ev-ery 2 days. The usual weekly dose for athletes is 200-300 mg. For this reason the 50 mg strength is often preferred and the athlete either injects the entire one-milliliter ampule daily or limits the use to half of it. Women normally do well with 100- 150 mg/week and should divide their weekly dosage into three equal parts. The poten-tial side effects are low since the compound is well tolerated by the liver and edemas, gynecomastia, and high blood pressure do not occur. Cases of acne and increased aggressiveness in men are low and rare, as is a reduction in the body's own hormone production. Virilization symptoms in women also occur rarely and for the most part in very sensitive persons when high dosages are given or when the intake interval lasts over several weeks. MENT induces a state of temporary infertility but has the unique ability to maintain normal biological functions in the complete absence of testosterone. This means that libido, energy levels, and sense of well-being are all maintained when running this compound solo.

This is basically methylated Deca-Nandrolon, which completely changes the parent compounds pharmacology. But it lacks serious hepatotoxic effects because its an injectable compound.



Comparing Trestolone to Testosterone
Trestolone binds to the androgen receptor stronger than testosterone but doesn’t convert to DHT. This means that prostate enlargement will not occur like it does with traditional HRT. Trestolone also doesn’t bind to sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG), allowing for the maximum amount of the hormone to bind to the androgen receptors.

This compound has an insane anabolic androgenic ratio of 2300:650. A 1992 study showing that MENT demonstrated 10 times the myotropic ability of testosterone in mice. I dont feel that this means the compound is going to build10 times the muscle as test. But it sure is a hell of a lot stronger and could be considered an optimized version of testosterone.

Effects on libido and sex drive
Belonging to the 19-nor family of steroids which are notorious for causing sexual dysfunction in males. This is why Nandrolone is commonly associated with terms such as “Deca-dick”. This is where Ment is completely different and shares more traits attributed to Testosterone. Especially in male sexual functioning. The alpha-methyl group on carbon 7 prevents it from binding to sex hormone binding globulin. This means sex drive is very high while on cycle…insanley high.

Ment is the only steroid that can maintain normal male physiology in the complete absence of testosterone. Many researches will be taken back by this, but this means that Trestolone can be ran without testosterone as a base hormone. In fact, I believe that Ment work better than Test in several regards when ran solo, especially in regards to libido and sense of well-being.



MENT and Estrogen Conversion
One of the few downsides of MENT is its strong estrogen conversion. It actually converts to a particularly nasty estrogen called 7a-methyl-estradiol. This means that use of an aromatase inhibitor is absolutely imperative to keep these side effects at bay. Some folks on forums claim that having caber or prami on hand just in case is a good idea. However, I have found that using .75 mg of Anastrozol every other day is sufficient as long you are’nt using a insane amount of MENT.

I would actually recommend front loading Anastrozole a few days before taking MENT. I did this and the only estrogen side effect I experienced was a couple random”hot flashes” and some water retention for the first couple of days. This subsided fairly quikly once my body adjusted to the hormone as well as the AI.

The only other real downfall of Ment is its heavy HPTA suppression.

Ment is 12 times as suppressive as Testosterone but keep in mind that its a male contraceptive candidate. Trestolone significantly lowered both LH and FSH, 90% in just 4 weeks. However, levels returned to baseline post cycle. This means that a fullblown PCT with HCG, Clomid, and Nolvadex is an absolute must.



I have used both these products with phenomenal results. I can say that sten is closer to trenbolene without the horrible sides while sten is more like anadrol without the sides and a additional libido boost like tren.
