I was just wondering if there's a way to send part of your gear in, to check its legitimacy?

I've only cycled off and on half a dozen times over the last 10 yrs and some gear definitely worked a lot better (IMO) than others.

Another question I have is if it's actually possible to send gear in for testing, how much would be needed?
