Anyone been lately? I'm headed down later this year and wanted to know what the pharmacies are like. I am not interested in any anabolics. No need to buy and bring back!

I would be interested in pharm grade ancillary items I could bring back. T4, aromasin, etc....

Very good pharms man, i was amased they had clonopin 4mg and it was pretty well dosed. Try to steer away from overpriced touristic zone pharmacies that are well marketed with signs in english (cialis signs etc in front door) and stick to local lower key pharmacies. Id even use some stuff while there if i was you. Speaking spanish will help lots if you dont look like a tourist in pricing and grabbing certain things

Yep, years ago for me too. And sorry to bastardize your thread, it's just the first thing I remembered about Costa Rica in the early 90's.

I was there on several 2 week surf trips in the 90s, we'd rent pathfinders and drive up and down the Pacific coast; up into Nicaragua and down into Panama, some of the best vacations in my life. We sampled the local coke and it was definitely legit! But I was more into sampling the young local Tica girls.....and I sampled quite a few!
