Hello,
I read many topics to learn how to be homebrewer, and I know that most important part is being clean. So as a noob, I want to be careful.
I am going to filter my 1 liter gear by using 250ml(250ml top and 250ml tank ready to use) sterile bottle top filters but I don't want to waste 4 filters for one batch so,
I will draw into 50ml sterile syringes all of my filtered gear after filtering process I am planning to do it in 8-10 secs. And then again filter another 250ml again drawing into syringe untill 1liter done.
Would it cause sterilization-failure because the gear will be open air for 10 secs and also the tank?
second concern,
I was planning to dry heat sterilization(I don't have autoclave for now) for vials(First place the stoppers on vials then sterilize them together and after I will put the filtered gear from 50ml syringe like drawing out but putting in) but I couldn't find silicon stoppers and bromobutyl stoppers can't resist over 121 degree(found some data on web, not experienced) so any experience with dry heating bromobutyl stoppers?
I am also thinking about isopropyl alcohol and hydrogen peroxide solution for sterilization but in any case I will have to open the vials to the air while putting the stopper on vial.
Thanks for advices.
